The Kite Runner is written by Khaled Hosseini.
Definitely, Hassan is the most loyal friend of Amir's, always helps Amir out of trouble and never considers of any compensations.
I like the kite fighting tournament very much, and this is the bightest part in the book, in my opinion, during the competition, Hassan and Amir, they behave like heroes and try the best to win.
But they belong to different classes in the society, they have different life tracks.
When I was reading and found out that they were half brothers, I was shaken seriously and my heart was broken for them, how could it be possible? If Amir had known the truth many years before, life should have been totally different. How could it be? I thought and thought, life was unfair and too cruel to them.

Yes,i've read the book. Its very different from the other books i've previously read. The story is brilliant.I feel bad for both the characters-the kids in the story. The servant boy for his loyalty and big heart and Amir's ignorance that is so tragically ironical. Its worth reading if you're looking for a differnt story with a setting other than the usual novels you read.

Yes, you are right, for Amir, it's so tragically ironical. Because of ignorance, he has to take the consequence.
