Do you bake? Do you enjoy it?

Do you enjoy baking? I never used to and I never did quite understand why my mum loved it so much. When we were kids, we loved licking the bowl of leftovers before the cake was done and then the cake itself afterwards. Now that I started to bake too, with my young child, I enjoy it loads. We make cookies and cup cakes which she enjoys doing thoroughly and I sometimes wish I could do it more often and will probably invest in some measuring devices and baking trays to get it just right and put some more practice in at the evenings or weekends.. What about you? Have you tried baking? Do you enjoy baking with and for your family and friends? Do you bake in your spare time or on special occassions like birthdays or do you prefer to just buy it from the stores?:)

I will be doing some baking today. I have some banana's that are getting a little too ripe, well actually perfect and I'm going to make some banana bread muffins. I prefer to make my own baked goods because I do not tolerate the artificial flavors and colors that are added into the baked goods from the stores and the frosting on those cakes is just gross! I like homemade much better. I have to make some yeast bread too.

I like baking and actually I enjoy all kinds of cooking. It's one of my interests. I like baking cookies, cakes and pizzas and even some meats for my family and friends. When I see them enjoy eating my food, it's the greatest happiness for me. I love China

Let me explain. Taking frozen food out and cutting off the plastic wrapper and placing it in the oven is cooking for me. I make up for my lack of cooking skills by baking at every chance I get. And, I'm the one who eats most of it!

I don't especially like baking, but my husband and toddler both enjoy eating what I bake, so I do it anyway. I would much prefer baking the stuff and knowing exactly what is in the cookies or cake, instead of buying the ones at the grocery store that are loaded with too many unhealthy additives. I do buy store bought cookies from time to time, but I really prefer home made ones.

I bake all of the time. I really enjoy it. I would bake more often if there were more people around to eat it. I have been selling my toffee at the local gas station for a few months now and I have recently started adding fresh baked cookies to the mix. It helps me with getting to bake and not having the stuff around the house.

I absolutely love to bake. My mother was never the baking type like your mum is. She always found baking a sorta chore. I personally think it is easier than cooking and more enjoyable too. I actually taught myself how to bake by following recipes and people are quite impressed when they taste my baked goods. I have friend about 3 years younger than I am who is interested in baking and stuff, but she is a bit poor so I tell her to come over sometime when I am baking and we would do it together so she can learn. It is really nice cause i then have a company to bake with and then someone to share the dessert with! I always bake for special occasions, even my own birthday. It's just better for me that way!

I enjoy baking, I just don't do it as much as I no longer eat sugar or white flour and I have a hard time finding good recipes that I can eat. I am good at it and wish I could do more. Today I made a banana bread, I used 1/3 wheat flour, 1/3 coconut flour and 1/3 low carb flour. It seemed to come out quite good. I have to experiment to get it right but this one worked the first time.

I love to bake! Haha. I like baking for people though since I tend to have issues baking WITH people. Haha. Sometimes in my spare time, I'll make a few cupcakes or cookies. But if it's a birthday, anniversary for someone, or as a congrats gift I'll make a few special cakes or attempt a batch of cookies for them. Haha. -^^- I don't really like buying pastries in stores though. Most of them don't taste very good. xP
