Is Runescape the most impressive Java game you know of?

I'm looking for other games made in Java, preferably games made to serve the MMORPG crowd. Do you know of anything as impressive as or more impressive than RuneScape?

Runescape is probablly the best java one, but there are better ones that need a disc.

It's definitely the best java has to offer. Jagex out did themselves with this game. But if you wanted a great game were you can fly around, then i'd say Flyff is your game. The servers aren't really laggy (except during prime gaming times on crouded servers like laowolf). but in my opinion any game can be fun (yes even a sucky one) as long as you have friends playing with you. I reccomend RL friends but guilds are ok too. Once you get to chatting and messing around even grinding for levs or gear is fun.

Runescape is the most impressive java based game i know of, there are other java games out there but they come no where close to runescape. They have done such a great job on the game

I like Runescape, but I know of another game JaGex made, which is a Strategy game, fun, and colorful. Ok, it's called Arcanists, it's on FunOrb.com (Owned by JaGex)
Also, you can speak to Friends on Runescape via Arcanists whilst playing...

I haven't seen any other java games that come close to Runescape. Considering Java isn't really meant for high level graphics, they've done a great job. At least from a programming perspective. From a gaming perspective there are lots of better options.

Funorb is a site with a collection of many java games all made by Jagex. Arcanists is a copy of Worms only it is in a browser and online play is easier.

The only other two MMORPG written in Java that I know of are:
* WurmOnline [ http://www.wurmonline.com/ ]
* Puzzle Pirates [ http://www.puzzlepirates.com/ ]
An Java based RTS exists as well, but I can not find the URL.
A few ports of existing games are floating about. Such as the Quakes ports (MP of 2 and 3 have been ported to Java).
And Java is is used as the scripting language of a few games, but only Vampire The Masquerade jumps to mind.
Finally freeware games: JavaGaming.org has a fair old list: http://www.javagaming.org/index.php?board=2.0

You should check out http://www.funorb.com it's a new site of Jagex, the makers of runescape. There are some pretty cool games on there, though none of them are as great as Runescape. Maybe you already heard of funorb, but just mentionning it cuz you never know. Good luck!

My friend are obsessed with java,
but they say that runescape isn't good,
because with full potential of java,
there could be far more things to do,
but I don't think so.
It is good enough as it is.
I don't know about any other java game.
