Most Annoying part of mylot

I did a course in designing years ago, posters, advertising etc.
I have to admit, that this "YOU MAY HAVE WON YOU HOURLY......" advertising fake window is without doubt, very eye catching but MAY BE the most annoying, epileptic causing, creation I have ever seen on this site.
Not only if you do click on it, I think many would agree would spent some time trying to avoid it again if possible next time.
Sir or madam, who ever made it, well done, thousands have seen it, now please try something eye catching but nice for the eye, where I may even click on it with a smile on my face.
To those in mylot, you design the site to be as easy to look at as possible, but it is you who allow this "lovely" advertising window.... so you gave with one hand and take it away with the other :-)

The most annoying thing is that I don't understand how they calculate their earnings. Sometimes I think it has more to do with how busy the whole site is than , what or how much I write... Secondly, I don't like seeing people using pictures of supermodels for their picture, hoping that I won't recognize that its Aishwarya Rai... Thirdly, I hate it when you visit somebody's homepage and then.. BANG!... I get a shock as this music starts playing. I can play my own music - thanks very much!

If things annoy people, they will be changed eventually. It often depends on how young the organisation is... But if it annoys users to such an extent that they start losing traffic, then you'll get all sorts of user-surveys and slime-slime communication on how we can improve things.
