My lot is getting boring

Hi darksorrow, Don't feel bad about it, that is common to all of us, trust me! Just add friends and turn o the notifications..BE active in their post and in return they will also be active in your post. When I started, I have that experienced too and honestly, even up to now, I have few responses only in my post. But, it doesn't mean people do not like us, just maybe they didn't find that post or honestly, they are not interested or no idea about it. Just continue posting and enjoy here!

i think it could a little boring because of the summer time. alot of people are on holidays, so there are just not the amount of discussions being posted as there normally are on here.

yea this has happend to me aswell, i think the main problem with mylot is that its done were new dicusions are always on top of older discusions and this means that people forget to check back on descusions and see resposnis to there posts.

I just checked out your profile and only a handful of your discussions are not about other money making sites or how you are paid or some such thing. MyLot is saturated with discussions like that. Take a little bit of time to read other discussions to see what people could really be interested in and build on that. Hope I gave you a helpful tip.

dont trouble yourself too much on this not that becoz it is just cool but i would say that is indeed normal to have discussions that dont hve any responses.. like you you cant just go in every discussion and post your respond to each and every post you will respond to those that catches your attention ayt? same goes to other users... just keep onposting and be grateful if someone replied back but if you cant have any discussion just do more post ok?? happy earning!!!

Hahahah :D there you have it done already !!! Look at your discussion, lots of people responding to it. Just be patience, and make more friends here. Most people will tend to be more responsive to discussion started / responded by their friends. You are still new, take your time. Cheers...

Well you certainly got a lot of responses with your plea from the heart, so now it's time for you to do two things. First, change the picture, even if you think you look like a yeti, because people will or may respond better to a photo of somebody real, rather than something that looks as if it's the cover of a horror story. Secondly, now you've got an audience, think of another topic, write it up, and then leave it to get some responses while you get busy contributing to other discussions. That's what MYLOT is really all about, and more often than not we all go thru the experience of starting topics which get no response. If you want to check, have a look at the DISCUSSIONS panel on your page, and check the DISCUSSIONS WITHOUT ANY RESPONSES. Yes, that's right, there is a separate category with that title, to make us all feel that we're not alone!

I had felt exactly the same, and i had made a topic then. I was also upset because i kept replying to my friends topics while they never found time to reply at my topics. This is really annoying, especially when you start and wanna have some fast progress. However, what i found out was, if the topic isnt in other peoples interests, they wont trouble to reply. So, even if u have many friends, even if u try your best, creating topics that dont interest more people will only lead to minimum number of responses.

I read through your discussions and most of which has a lot to do about making money and such. The thing is with so many people online every person has their taste of discussions and what they respond to. It is according to your will what other topics you can discuss and post about in this site. Last year I started saying the same thing too that Mylot is getting boring. It was because my story was I had nothing else to talk about so I stopped for a while. But now I'm back. Why? Because it is paying a lot more than last year and figured I can post other things day by day. It also comes down to it what you do and how you represent yourself here in Mylot. Best to build a good rep and you'll do great.

Hello darksorrow, You are not alone, I have posted many discussions but only few responces and yet when look at some Mylotter's discussions they have over 50 responses, I know the feeling, don't despares. Tamarafireheart.

I think maybe its because your new, once you have made a fair amount of discussions then you should get more people looking at your discussions and responding. The same happened to me when i first started i only got like 4 responses max to my discussions but now i get pages full of responses, i think you just need to make a few good discussions and more people will contribute. You've already got 3 pages and counting on this discussion so you are doing good for yourself don't you think?

Thank you very much for your complain. I can see that you are vary disturbed. Me I like contributing some other peoples discussion, because it has been said count not your own interest but value others than yours. So never mind friend a good day can be seen in the morning. Keep those coming never grow tired as earlier as this. I am also a member of those who their discussion are rarely responded.

i've been here going on 3 days now. i think alot of people here have their circle of friends and enough cut out for them. it is time consuming enough to visit all their friends. and they chat back and forth too. they manage to be on at the same time . you need to give it time to sprout. a month can seem like a long time. there isn't a set time for you. it takes as long as it will take. try to enjoy what you are involved in and give it time to mature. just keep giving them bait. and you could find a hot spot.

when my friend this is something which mankind feeling. A lot of my discussions are never replied in a field a bad about it I can see you very irritating and foolish questions being responded readily whereas when I put some good questions which need some logical thinking to answer them and never get any response to those. But then I have of setting aside and I have moved on. Nowadays I hardly post any discussion of mine but I generally respond to others and I make it a point that I don't make any foolish response to any of the decisions. They just a ploy from me and I hope others will also move with it so that we can enjoy the stay here on the subject. Even I have seen a lot of people putting questions which are not actually questions but information which I think they copied paste from any other Web site.

Don't be embarrassed. I have my share of unresponses. Dsicussion I think are really good. Sometimes what can happen is the title is not catchy enough. Or you may have posted during a busy time of day, therefore not many people will see your post. One thing may actually be your picture. :) You have to admit...it doesn't scream "I would love you to drop in and chat a while. lol Here is what worked for me. I would respond to several discussions. Good responses. Intelligent and I would put alot of work in to it. That caused me to get quite a few friends and many of them now have me on notify. In other words they are notifed when I start a discussion. Also pick out 3-4 of your friends and respond to as many of their deiscussion as possible. That will build a relation with them. hope this helps.

oh!1 don;t get discourage, this happens to all who are here. Not at all times that our discussions will be responded by many. For me, I am glad when there is 1 person who will reply to my discussion. If I have only few responses, I will not post too much. I will reply to the discussion of others. It doesn't matter if you are posting discussion or you are replying, you still earned for both. So, don;t worry about it. just keep going. Participate more everyday and you will be fine.

Hi, I think perhaps the problem sometimes here is that there are just so many people who have so many different topics which they start that it is hard for any person to be able to respond to all of them and therefore unfortunately some people take a long time to get responses to their posts. But if you stick with it, make friends and keep posting discussions you will see an increase in this over time as more and more people begin to get to know you better.

i'm assuming that this thread solved your response problem? LOL about 50% of what i post doesn't get responded to. i've only been here 9 days, but i've noticed that you have to post topics that people want to read and be involved in. try religion or politics, that always gets people and responding.

Well atleasat you got a lot of replies on this one, but I think the reaspns nobody answers your topics are because there just to lazy to acctually think about the answer when they can post unhelpfull non sense somewhere else and still get paid.
