My friend Mart, told me about myLot and getting some money on the way. So I joined and did all the things you do, then wrote a few pieces to see what happens. Little did I know that I spend 3 hours doing this and the next morning I was given 7 cents. 7 cents for 3 hours work..... I now know what it is like to be working for NIKE in Taiwan! Cheers :-)

Some people must have great patience or just loves reading peoples ideas and remarks. I am silly I guess but why not put all these cents into charity instead, as really we dont need it but the poorer nations would. xx

Nice thought. I came up with an idea before about deducting 1 cent from each mobile message that we send, and i send it too my pal who works in Vodafone, He said it would raise close to 9 million in one year, but no mobile company would agree to it. just for 1 cent less. Greed is a terrible thing. I love the purity of your thoughts. :-)

That is amazing, I spent about 4 hours and I made $1.88 and that was while doing other things as well, installing software and reading mail as well as responding to discussions. You must be too thoughtful in your answers or something. Just relax and give it time, it will happen.

haha... I know what you mean... Welcome to MyLot. It seems like you're pretty new here. Usually, MyLot pays you for the length of your response plus other stuff like the number of posts you've done for the day, how many discussions you've started and how many have responded to it. One thing that you should remember, you have to enjoy being here.... You'll notice after that it's easier to respond to discussions plus you won't realize the time that has passed. GOod luck my friend. I'm pretty sure you'll get more than your 7 cents in no time.

LOL, you need to work faster. You might not make a fortune on mylot but I think you'll enjoy the discussions and maybe make some new friends in the process. I've never been bored here and would come here even if the site didn't pay.

It's has to do with the ratings system as far as I know but it doesn't get you any more money so it's just for looks. You'll get one eventually after you've posted a certain number of post...just like you'll be able to use the codes eventually, too. Happy posting!

Well Frank, How are your earnings doing now. I hope they are now better than 7 cents by now and that you like it here a LOT...hehe..Oh! MY! Anyway laughing aside, I hope you are having fun. I am certainly meeting some nice people out there and having some interesting discussions. For example, there was one today about telling how people are lying. You're the body language expert. You should get in on that one. See you back at the ranch. Mart

Cheers Mart. I have not had much time to really look at the site. It takes too much time for me. Remember I only see 66% of anything I see, when you get links after links and so many to watch for, I get tired from looking for things. I like simplicity. ;-) Talk soon Mart Namaste

Hi Frank. And do you know what the great thing about all this is?- you are still smiling! :-) But who knows, maybe some of your discussions will start a chain reaction and that seven cents will turn into seventy cents and that seventy cents in to seven dollars in a couple of weeks. Anyway I was just reading around and got a tip from another MyLot.com colleague. He said that each of your comments should be longer than five lines, so do your best to stretch them out a bit and maybe that seven cents will increse in value. By the way. Where are we going to spend the seven cents? UMart

Hi Frank!,... Let's make that a nice clean crisp American Dollar. You do not seriously think I would give you a whole €uro. Besides if I give you the dollar next year I may save myself a few more €uro cents. In the meantime I will put my €uro on deposit at an interest rate of 4.25%, which should save me a few more cents. By that time I will be MyLot.com's first European millionaire. Whoopee and hoorah! .. Speak to you later Frankie Boy! -)

Welcome to myLot. Hope you will decide to stick around, and be an active member of this site. Most of us have learned and will tell you, if you are here expecting to make a living, you are mistaken, but if you are looking for a way to make a little extra income each month, than this is the place to be. There are a lot of things that can help you on here earn more. What I have learned if you are interested in making at least the $10 patout each month, is that you need to respond back to at least 30 New discussions a day. This would mean trying to make your responses at least 4 lines in length pertaining to the Topic at hand, and also start a New discussion or two a day as well. (If you are like me, and work a Full time job, you will find days where you are more active than others for sure.) No, this site is far from a get rich scheme for sure, but there are lots of real people earning a couple extra dollars each month just to help with an extra Bill or two as well.

You certainly know what you are talking about ;-) Yes I agree that this is not for a career, it is more neat I guess. For me, it just is not practical as I do not work at a desk, so it is rare that I will be spending more than 20 minutes at a computer. Posting 10's or 20's responses to me seems rather silly, thats work isn't it? So I like those who just like the site, not for financial reward. Something good will come from it. Many thanks

man that is one funny ratio. I guess this conversion rate will bring you a lot of problems. Seven cents in three hours is even worse than begging on the streets. I guess that has a higher income rate than on this website. But let me tell you you can definitely do better than that. When I first joined as a site my sole intention was to bits $20-$25 to lodge my own with designing website. But slowly I started to get a lot of interest in this website and that is the reason why I'm still continuing with this website. The key is to post quality content. Your response should be big enough and I guess then you could get better with that ratio.

Thanks for the message. There is a touch of a learning process here aswell, which does put me off a little. To compare to facebook, even with its own annoying parts, at least I have the freedom to write, pictures video clips etc to my own page and talk to my friends abroad when ever I feel like it. Mylot is more basic to me with less attractive profile, but having to do something daily to get popular on the sight isn't fun to me. I is as you said, it is up to you what you want to use mylot for. Cheers

Well I think you need to be adding more interesting topics in here. I am pretty sure you'll get the hang of it someday and enjoy it. I think you are used to the real offline jobs that pay you by the hour. In here you are paid based on your contribution to the site.

I understand what you say. My issue here is i get good advice, however mostly it is, 'I have to' or "I need to' which sounds a little like being programmed by , lets face it, a lot of intelligent people who are making a living out of your work. A touch of ying and yang here, I like some parts and dislike others. Cheers

7 cents in three hours! well by the look of your post numbers you need to respond alot more to topics to earn alot more trust me it does not take much to get a decent earning and then you will be able to get to the payout.

Thank you Lady, I am a little scatterbrained, doing 4 things at the same time, but I presume the most important part is to write more, and that is not my strongest point. It is enjoyable all the same. It is nice to have helping words of encouragement on the way. ;-) Namaste Frank

Aye, it is a little but trivial, but someone may have the time to do this, and spend ages sending emails to get people to join, referrals are referrals and god knows where it will lead to after a long time, so I cant tell. I admore those with the patience.
