Life can be so short and unpredictable. We never know what will happen to you even the next second. So if you are given a chance to know you are going to die, will you tell your family? What will you tell them? If this is in my case, I won't tell them. I don't want them to get worried about me,I don't want them to sad for me. This maybe cruel for them, is just like cheating them, but I think this is a beautiful lie. Will you do the same thing as me? Or do you have different opinion ? Please share with me....Thanks..

There is a debt and an obligation to others. And part of that is not to make decisions for them. If you are dying, I certainly think the people that love and depend on you deserve a little heads up. Otherwise, once you have passed, it will be a shock and a cruel blow. "Why didn't they tell me?" The family will feel that they missed out on their last time with you because you didn't care to tell them you were sick.

This is tough. I don't know if I would come outright and say it at first. I would definitely make sure I spend more time with them, my true friends, and my significant other. I want them to know how much I love them, how much they mean to me, and leave them feeling satisfied, without any questions left or emptiness inside. Maybe I would tell them afterwards because I dont want to be selfish.

I would not tell them because i would not want them to treat me differently. I don't want someone feeling sorry for me. I would pray to God that they have the strenth to forgive me for not telling them.
