I made chocolate chip cookies tonight, so this just hit me. How do you like to make cookies? pre-made just put them on a pan and throw them in the oven. OR Do you like to make them homemade. Me? Well I like to do it both. I just have my lazy days and days were I just want to bake fromt he heart. SO, you tell me. Gizelle

I only make mine from scratch. I love oatmeal raisin cookies (and others) and like to use fruit juices/purees to replace the sugars and some of the fats called for in the recipes.

Oh how nice! I made chocolate chocolate chip muffins this evening. But I don't like to bake cookies from the packages ever since I have finally learnt how to make cookies from scratch without them being ruined in one way or another. I admit the package cookies are yummy and convenient as you can just take a few out whenever you feel like having fresh hot cookies but I dunno, I find more pleasure in making them from scratch.

The premade ones are pretty good but I prefer making them homemade. What I learned from my mom is you make a lot of cookie dough, bake as many cookies as you want to eat and ball up the rest of the dough and save it in the freezer so you can easily make cookies whenever you want. That way instead of making tons of cookies and having them go stale you can have them fresh whenever you want.

I like to bake cookies at home, however, like u mentioned there are those lazy days when you want to just open a packet and pop one in.I find the cookie recipes and videos here great for mastering the art of making a variety of cookies http://www.ifood.tv/network/cookie/recipes

i much prefer home made cookies for that crisper fresher taste and the smell when out of oven is mmmm nice :)) I used to make them all the time and hardly ever bought store ones.. i liked melting moments, u know them? covered in coconut and/or porridge oats. but have to say i become lazy lool i will have to make again but trouble is.. home made never last as long, eaten too quickly lol
