Currently, I'm reading Sophie Kinsela's Shopaholic Ties The Know. It's the 3rd part of the Shopaholic Sequel. It took me a while before starting to read romantic comedy books. But pressure and stress from the office moved me to look for some "stress reliever." I'm not into TV Programs. (Because my twins - they're the one on the pix! seems like the "owner" of the TV set @ the living room while my hubby has his own in our bedroom.-haha!) So I look for another venue to rlieve the stress. And somehow, Sophie Kinsela's books helped me relieved some burden! whew! I often find myself laughing!! It's like you were watching what you're reading. Her books are like ___ and the City meets Devil Wears Prada meets Bridget Jones Diary. It's really godd, you should try!

I love books and I'm into reading a wide array of books. Some of my all-time favorite books are The Wedding and Tuesday's with Morrie. For some reason, reading these books make me cry. I mean there are a lot of lessons that you can get from them and other insights that you've never even thought of before. I hope you read a lot of books as well. =)

Nineteen Minutes, by Jodi Picoult (www.jodipicoult.com). It's taking me awhile to read because I am HERE all the time but it's a really good read so far. Pretty much aftermath of a situation like Columbine with some flashbacks to flesh out and help the reader come to terms with how and why something like this could and can happen. I have never read a bad book by this author. Warning, these are emotional books to read. They will make you think.

I am currently reading a called the "Groundswell" which is about the collective influential power of online consumers in shaping markets and the success or failure of products, services and companies. I am preparing for a new venture so am trying to broaden my horizons! I recommend a book called "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by Richard Bach. It is a short story that takes only a couple of hours to read and is very uplifting and positive. Why be a common seagull and spend your life merely surviving if you can master flight and open up a whole new world of purity and excellence? It is a really engaging story that I have read many, many times and I love it!

I am currently reading "Tuesdays with morrie". It was a good book, although I am not yet finish with it. It's all about the greatest lesson in life that a dying man shared to a young man.. I guess I don't want to spoil the greatness of the book. I think you have to read it...

I am a huge Stephen King fan and read each new book of his that comes out. I am currently working on "Blaze".
One of my "hobbies" is visiting flea markets, yard sales and second-hand stores. I have found many Stephen King books in the second-hand stores that I never even knew existed!!! I guess every now and then he "sneaks" one in behind my back and I don't realize he has a new one out until I see it in a second-hand store!

I'm addicted to Haruki Murakami's works particularly Kafka on the Shore. You can his other masterpieces too: Sleeping Willow: Blind Woman, Norwegian Wood (I was told that this is his best work so far), Sputnik Sweetheart, and Wind Up Bird Chronicle. The language is very simple, pure and honest. And you'll be amazed on how the translators were able to come up with the english text for readers (yeah the original text is in Japanese). The style is there, and postmodernism is I must insist clearly defined through his works.
I hope you can grab a copy.

Hi.I'm no bookworm but i do make it a point to read a minimum of one book every month. At the moment i'm reading "cat & mouse" by James Patterson.I just started reading it so i cant tell you much but its a suspense thriller, kind of fast paced and very difficult to put down.So far its been very interesting. If you're into romance novels "changes" by Danielle Steele would be a good book to read.I just finished it and it was pretty alright.Tell me what you think if you do read these books.take care!
