who will you save??

If i could i would try to save them all. But maybe the situation is very bad like they are in the middle of a lake, then maybe i'll only be able to save two, and i'll choose the daughter and the father. Because daughter is always father's favorite, reason why i want to save father not mother is because father might be able raise the daughter. If it were even worse i could only save one, then it's really had to make the decision but i would choose the son. Because son can be more independent than the daughter. That's just my answer, and i hope if we were charged to face this situation. I sincerely hope we'll be able to save the whole family because a family without any member will be incomplete. I would try to save them all. Depending on current and conditions in general, I have enough body fat that I can easily stay afloat with all four clinging to my lower half with a good single grip. And assuming they have the brains to float along with me and let me do the work. Thing is... would they struggle and bring us all down or work together and stay calm? Fight or flight?

This is really tough. My first reaction would be the kids but then I begin to think about where the kids would be without parents. Guess my decision would be to save the mom but it also depends on who is closest to the bank of the river or lake and who can be the easiest to grab from the water. I don't mean to sound selfish here since I am a mom but I wouldn't want our kids being tossed into having to live with another family because my husband and I were gone. On the other hand I wouldn't want to live if our kids were gone. Very good discussion.

Hi, friend, this is an old question in my country,though a little different. Ours is if your family members drown in the river, your mother, your wife,who will you rescue first? But you changed it, in this question, they are friend's family members. But I can tell you that no matter they are mine or my friend's, I will rescue the one who can be easily saved,.

This is always hard to think about . Many people would save the kids and that is what I would do . I would try to save the little girl , and then the little boy which ever one I could help is who . I would try to say everyone if that was even possible .

I would do my best to go to the one that is the youngest because they are most likely to be the one that will not be able to help themselves. If the adult can not swim saving them would be no use to help me get the others out. I would want to help them of course. I would be runnig and calling 911 at the same time on my cell phone until I reached the water. This way others will come asap. I would try to get both children at the same time. Yelling and try ting to help from anyone in ear shot. I would hope this never happened so I would not have to make a choice. I have had a baby drown and losing a baby is hard. I couldn't accept being a good mother if I didn't help the children, losing another child I could not handle. Even if the child is not mine. I would always wonder why I didn't do this or that to save them.

haha.. I will save the father 1st, so that he can take care of the family and be the sole bread winner for the rest if the mom cant be saved in time..

I will save anyone of them whom i can save. i will not even stop to choose which of them i will attempt to save because whoever is the nearest will be the first and i will try to save as many as I can.

i don't think you'd have time to be picky. i believe anyone would just grab who they could.

I would go for the young ones first i would find something that could be use to save them all because you have to remember they are family one could not survive the thoughts of losing someone they love specially the parents.If I could not find something ,I would go for the lightest either son or daughter.But i will surely try to save both for them to have the chance of living their lives to the fullest.There lives has not yet started why deprive it to them?

Lets see they're drowningn in a river there may be riverguards around . If not i cant dive in because i cant swim n lastly I'll try my best to save all four of them. If i cant save all of them I'll save the one whom i could

I would save the person nearer to me so that I could save time and If time still permits then probably i could save the next person that is nearer.

Mercy what a terrible situation to even imagine! I would try to help the youngest first, as they're the ones most likely to need help faster--the least likely to be able to help themselves in any way. ~~

if i'll have the chance to save two i will save the children they still have their future ahead of them for they were still young.besides their parents may survive anyway. but if i can save only one i will save the son. i think the son will be much stronger and braver after what happen and may have a good future to stand for his family's fate. besides if he will be saved their blood line will still continue.

i will save either the son or the daughter. i believe that this young ones can be given a chance to survive since they are still young. i hope the mother and father can save their lives.

I will not save any one because I myself don't know how to swim so if I try saving, I might just also drown with them. (ha!ha!ha! but that is true, I don't know how to swim but I promise this summer, I'm going to take swimming lessons.)

hehe, i believe i have the ability to save two, the son and the daughter, since they are the hope of the whole family. but to save all of them is not impossible. just graspt the time and we can. but to save the children will make the parents very satisfied even if we can not save the parents.

if i can save two means i will do it for son and daughter. But if i can save one means, i will save the son, because he is the only perso to continue this family heritage.

jokingly speaking,i will save the one who is the nearest to me. just joking. if such thing occured on me,i will save the boy or the girl,for the simple reason that parents always willing to sacrifice their own life to save their child.that is to say the life of the child is the most important.(all the lives are very important).on the other hand,child is the hope ,the first light of moring,the dawn. anyway i prefer the man is not me,i never wanna see 3 guys dying in front of me.
