Do you wear it after your wedding ring or after your wedding ring?
On my wedding finger I have my wedding ring, nearest my knckle, followed by my egagement ring. my egagement ring is flat all around with white stones studded in it, I didn't want a raised stone for fear of catching it on everything. Then my enterity ring which again is a flat ring.
I have noticed on the television the last few days that a lot of ladies are wearing there egagement rings before there wedding rings. A lot of these rings are raised stones and surely will catch on things, also to remove your egagement ring you have to take your wedding ring. I have never took my wedding ring off.
So what way around do you wear your rings.

I am not wearing any of my rings at the moment. I take them off when I am at home. When I do wear them it depends on my mood. I do not wear the original wedding band that my husband gave me when we were married. I wear 2 diamond bands with a solitare diamond ring between them. Or sometimes I wear a solid band that has "Always and Forever" engraved on it and a diamond ring on the outside of that.

Hi Anne,
I have my engagement ring then wedding ring..I always take them off when I am washing dishes since I do it manually, when I am taking a shower and cleaning the house! I am not comfortable having them when I do cleaning and I don't like it to be scratched!

I didn't actually get my engagement ring until 4 months after we were married. All I had was my gold wedding band. I wear the band closest to my hand and the diamond on top, closest to the tip of my finger. It is just more comfortable for me and I think it looks better. Sometimes I have to take both rings off due to swelling of my hands, and the rings are cutting off my circulation. I hate doing it though. It feels like a part of me is missing.

A very interestig question. My husband and I got engaged, and then we eloped. We are going to have a second ceremony next moth in which we wil give eachother my late grandparents wedding rings.
The wedding bands are very thick, and I won't be able to wear the wedding ring and engagement rings on the same finger, so I am going to moe my engagement ring to my middle finger, and weare my wedding band on my ring finger.

Your wedding band should be closer to your heart... and than your engagement ring... Don't wear you wedding band before you get married that is bad luck...
