ok i am here because i need help and hopefully someone can help me, for personal reasons that are very important i have to go almost across country, like 5 or 6 states, and i had very short notice of this and i have checked greyhound bus(because i don't have a lot of money right now due to short notice)and the bus ticket is out of my range, so i was just wondering if there was a way that anyone could think of to get there for me(i can't travel by car because of gas and no one else is going that way)so this is the only way i have of going, this is not a want to go...i have to go, so i was just wondering if anyone could tell me any ways(and due to other circumstances i can only work through the internet)can someone please help me, do you know if greyhound is the lowest place that you can buy bus tickets or is there other bus systems or maybe trains?

My uncle used the greyhound from kansas to maine for a very affordable fee, though i have never used greyhound myself, i've heard it is a cheap, if uncomfortable way to travel. I'm fairly sure it is the cheapest way to get where you're going. maybe you should try asking friends or family for a loan however so you could afford an airplane ticket, its more expensive, but much easier on you. good luck. Not knowing more info make it difficult. But I will give it a shot. Catch rides at truck stops. You cant tell there is not a truck that is not going in your direction. Trucks roll all over this country and then some! In some states they have whats call travelers Aid, they help you get to your destination provided some one is there expecting you. If it is a hardship situation, many times churches will help, even the Salvation Army! There is actually more but they are secrets of the road! Good luck!!!

I know that greyhound tickets can sometimes be over 100 dollars, I am not sure what kind of budget you have, but I once took the Redeye(overnight airplane) from Denver, Colorado to Boston Massachusetts. Goodluck, and I hope everything works out for you.

first off where are you and where are you going? i have traveled from california to georgia on $200 spending limit so i might be able to help you out but i need to know where you are from, since each state have a website for cheap places to go, and sometimes even the paper can be helpful. anyways get back to me and i will help you- but like i said, need to know where to start from. and the destination you need to go to.
