Has anyone ever stolen your MyLot avatar?

I don't think that my avatar have been usurped for someone, well I don't think that someone would want to have a picture of me when I was a kid, I don't know why I always have liked your avatar, always that I see it under the discussion that started my friends on the main page, something make me want to post a response, maybe because your post are easy to understand and they are very general so anyone can post a response to it, I have the problem that I end starting a discussion with topics hard to answer, I hope you never get stole your little penguin man and I hope you don't change it. I just like that penguin and reading the other responses I think more people like that penguin also.

No one has ever tried to use my avatar as there own yet. It would be pretty silly to steal my picture lol. Now I have had people steal my picture just cause they like it but they never used it as their own that I know of.

Oh no, I can't imagine anyone else with your little penguin avatar. I just wouldn't be right. It is so you. I haven't worried about this. I'm pretty sure no one would steal mine.

Hello my friend. I would really complain if someone steals my avatar. It's my own pic, the real me, and if I see someone with my pic on it, maybe they're a fan.LOL. Just kidding. But I've seen someone with the same avatar like yours. But that avatar was dancing. Anyway, I don't get it why some people would copy someones avatar. Why don't they check first if someone has it before posting. Happy postings! HUGZ

Uh- I think I'd be a bit scared of having a stalker, since my pic is a personal one of me and hubby. I always use personal pics and not web pics... so if it happened, hopefully it's someone I know, not a stalker.

This is something that I hope that I will never have to worry about. My avatar is a picture of me. I doubt someone would want their avatar to be a picture of me. Also, if it was to happen then I would send something to mylot.com administration to tell them about it. I treat this website like a personal website. I want people to see me and what I look like, just like I want from them.

I'm lucky that no one ripped off my avatar. I will download avatars if they are cute to my hard drive, but I won't use some one else's avatar. That just causes confusion on MyLot. I use avatars to help me identify people.

I don't think anyone has taken my avatar and used it as their own. However if they did I'd probably laugh to myself because the avatar is an actual picture of me, not just something that I pulled off from the web. I would send them a message and ask them to remove it as I feel it wouldn't be right for them to use it as their avatar. I did see someone try to duplicate my pose before though and use it as their avatar. Heck they even had a red bathing suit on. I got a kick out of it and thought it would be hilarious if other mylotters followed suit. LOL I'm guessing someone made a complaint as this user didn't use it as their avatar very long (just a few days), though I could be wrong. I know when I see different mylotters using the same avatar it can be quite confusing! So it's a good idea to find one that is original. Since you were the first to have this penguin, it would only make sense that you should be the one to keep it. Hopefully you'll never have to worry about it though.

No sweety that has never happened to me and since it is my childs ultrasound picture i doubt they would! lol xxx

I have only had two avatars since I have been on the site. Neither one of them has ever been stolen. I'd be pretty surprised if they did considering both of them are pictures of me. If someone did take it I would probably laugh...unless of course they were one of those crazy stalkers!

I hate to tell you but there IS a newbie penguin art snatcher on the loose! Go hunt him/her down - I nearly responded to one of their discussions thinking it was you - lucky I didn't as I don't want to support anyone who steals another person avatar! GIVE THE PENGUIN BACK - you know who you are! They do say copying is the most sincere form of flattery - see there is a positive in everything

I dont think I will have to worry about that onebut I have seen your penguin somewhere else so you should be on the look out,I thought it was you but it wasnt,I wish now I would have paid better attention to the name.You have a great night.

I thought I saw your avatar on someone else's profile but when I went back to try and find it again I could not! Up to now I have never noticed if anyone has used the same avatar as me, I do not think it would bother me too much if someone took it. If they are that desperate for it they can have it, I have plenty of others to choose from LOL

I think I have seen another penguin avatar much alike to yours but I don't think he stole it from you because his has a lower quality of picture, with the pixels showing and many blurred areas. I am sorry I don't remember the name but I think he is a male. I don't think he is in my friends' list. I would let you know when I see him again so that we will see if he had really copied it from you, but I don't think he has. I would feel violated (that seems to be a hard word) if my avatar would be copied and used by another mylot member. My girlfriend's dog has been my online identification now as I use it in other sites that I am on. I guess when it has been stolen, it would be easy to tell because mine is a live one. Maybe I would send a message to that person and ask him if he can stop using my avatar. Otherwise, I'll report him to the admin.

No one has ever sole my avatar on MyLot or on any other site. I would hope that o one ever will. People would be stupid to do it, especially to do it to people as well known as you and I are. I recognize you by your avatar, and I respond to almost all o your discussions. It would really scrw me up if someone got o here using your avatar, that wasn't you.

lol I thought I saw another penguin here yesterday. But the other penguin is alive while yours is stationery. Bless be, it's your twins! Your penguin avatar is your trademark, so do not change it before you consult the feng shui master.ha ha ha joking. Honestly, your penguin attracts me first before I read your posts. Hello beautyqueen26, Nope, never. But I saw your look alike avatar before. Maybe the person loves your avatar so much that he/she looked for the look alike or maybe he/she really loves penguin. But as far as I could remember, your penguin is very cute and I love the size. Aha, if someone stole my avatar, I will change to a new one - more attractive and tempting so that he/she will try to steal again *laughs*

Over a penguin man? Are you serious? It would be a different story if you post your real picture of yourself and someone stole your avatar of you. I've seen many other users here on mylot that has penguin avatars similar to yours or maybe the same. Even if I did have a penguin or some other cartoon avatar I really wouldn't care if someone had the same avatar of that type of character. I would feel very awkward though finding one or more users that is using my photo of me then I would be tripping out big time.

Up until recently I have only used photos of myself or my children so it wouldn't have been a problem, however my new one I love and would be very upset if someone else used it but would go back to using a picture of my kids if it did. Ellie :D

I think I should claim copyright if anyone does copy my avatar as its the view from outside my bedroom window!!! I think you penguin man looks really cute. if someone does appear o have the same avatar (whether they pinched it or not!!), just shows you have good taste as they picked the same thing but then if they do copy it then I would have a word with them and just mention that you were here first. Is there any mylot rules about pinching someones avatar picture????
