We all know the new Upgrade here has caused a couple of Problems like the Window is bigger now and you need to scroll over to respond, now I do not know if you are all still getting this, I downloaded Firefox 3 this morning and it has stopped the Window being that big, now maybe mylot has sorted it I do not know but just before I downloaded it I still had the Big Window, also the new Firefox 3 is a lot faster and brilliant
So if you are still having that Problem, try downloading it

I just HATE this new layout…its such a big bother and everytime mylot is lying idle for say an hour or so, I am being logged out automatically…I have to log in anew.
Anyways, I have firefox but have never used it, I’m more comfortable with the IE, but I will download FF3 and see if it helps. Thnx a ton for the info.

I have always used internet explorer and didn't want to switch. I was having troubles over at another site and they suggested I use firefox. I wasn't happy but I tried it. I love it now. When did they upgrade the site? I think it looks nice.

I got a big surprise when I just logged in. Guess I just have to get used to the new layout.
I've been using Firefox for quite some time, in my opinion it's safer, faster and much more efficient than IE and the add ons are great. Haven't downloaded version 3 yet, I might get round to doing so in the next few days.
The window of mylot is huge now, which doesn't really bother me, but it's good to know that it will be smaller once we're using the last version of Firefox.
Thanks for the tip, gabs.

Good Morning Gabs :))) I have been a long time fan of firefox, it fixes many surfing browser problems.... Not to mention that it is much safer and does not have the vulnerabilities that IE has.

I love Firefox but unfortunately it does not work with everything. I still have to keep IE as my primary because I do surveys and a lot of them will not work with Firefox. I tried using the ie plug in but it has to be set for every instance and I lose a lot of surveys while setting it. IE crashes to much and stalls way to much. It is a piece of junk. I have been using Firefox for some time with the social networking because I get less problems and have not once had a social network site freeze while using it. I have tried Opera and Avant and always come back to Firefox.

When I first started using a computer in 1992 the only thing out there was AOL and Compuserve. I tried Aol and did not care for it so switched to Compuserve. I stuck with that until about 1997 when dial up ISP started expanding. At that time I immediately switched to Netscape Navigator. IE was all ready giving me problems. I used that exclusively until I started signing up for survey companies which did not accept anything except IE so I was forced to use it and have always hated it.

I've used firefox for the last few years, but because, as a computer geek, I know that it's safer for my system as a whole.
Internet Explorer is a gateway for malware. Virus infections, adware, spyware .. the very tools that make computer techs rich. With firefox, I don't have to worry about the spyware and adware aspect, it protects your system against it. Virus infections are still a risk, but not to the degree that they are with IE.
The people who stay with IE because of spellchecker, popup blocker, etc ... Firefox has all that, too .. but you don't need an external toolbar for it. It's part of the browser itself.
Very simply, Firefox is more secure. While the change might be difficult at first, give yourselves a week and you'll wonder why you didn't switch sooner.

Ciniful the pop up blocker is much much better in Firefox, I so agree with you. I am a computer tech as well. Virus mal-ware cleanups are my specialty along with software resolutions. I will put firefox and a machine I have cleaned up and explain to my customers the differences and the advantages to using Firefox over IE, but I can not make them use it. Most often on the second clean up in 6 months at 125.00 a clean up they get the point.

Well it's still not working for me. I do have firefox 3, but I still have to scroll and I don't like it too much . I guess it also has to do with the monitor and the resoltion we have it set for, so it can be more or less fixed. But for now, I'm not happy with having to scroll to read the whole thing.

I got it working now, twin:), just had to change the resolution.
My son is ok now, thankfully. But I"m still taking it easy and slowly because it was a big scare. I still think that if he over does it a bit he will get tired so for me it's not yet 100%.
HOw about you dear one? Are you completely recovered now?
Big hug

I have been using Firefox since its earliest version and the latest release really tops them all. One user here started a discussion that she had 60+ open tabs and it still working fine. I read in a forum that one guy has 100 addon and it still working fine. This is what I like with firefox, I can customize this to my needs in fact I would have a hard time using a bare FF with out my addon.
As for the the new layout, the only problem I encountered is I would have to type more because its wider. MyLot did finally adjust to the theme of the time. Users here would really adjust to this new one. Personally, I think this is more functional compared to the old one.

Now I also use firefox. In fact, I think it only could help me with open many web easy and no other advantage. It also couldn't download in some sites.

I will have to check that out when I get home. Thanks for the heads up on this. I have Firefox on my computer at home, but I'm using Windows Explorer on my brother's computer right now. So I don't see a big difference on this one. Hugs to you hon.

I havent noticed a problem with the window being big, all i know is tabs moved to the top. I will not download firefox 3 yet, because the add-ons im using much arent yet upgraded to fit Firefox 3, so i must wait if i want to have those working. Addons are what make firefox be the best browser :)

I did not try to browse mylot site in Firefox, mostly I will browse through IE.
There are a lot of differents between Firefox and IE, even IE in different version may have a lot of differents. If you have problem in Firefox, may be download IE and use IE.
As I know, most of the time, there will be more problem in IE compare to Firefox.
