Are you okay dating a guy who's shorter than you?

Well I'm only 5ft 4in so any guy shorter than me is definetly too short. I need someone taller than me so I can feel safe.

I am really short, I am 5'4". My girlfriend is 5'8" and at first it was a bit awkward because that is not too common but now it is all good. I love her and she loves me I guess that is all that matters. I wish I was taller though. =P

I wouldn't have a problem dating a shorter man. If he's nice and treats me with kindness and respect, he's 10 feet tall in my eyes. My hubby isn't tall (inch taller than me) but he's a wonderful man who makes me feel safe and secure.

Short is actually the one thing I'm not sure I'd be okay with. Religion, colour, ethnicity, weight, etc would not affect my decision but I do like to be cuddled and held and feel safe and all that mushy stuff. Of course, if I fell in love with a short guy, I'd hardly pass it up! It just is one of the only superficial things that I do consider on some level when I meet guys.

My fiance is 1 inch shorter than me. He's so cute too. He looks like a hansome elf! Short guys are usually stocky too, which I like.

Doesn't matter to me. I've dated short guys, guys that were my height, and guys that were considerably taller than me. I never had a problem with any of them as far as height goes.

I would be fine dating a guy who was shorter than me if I wasn't in my current relationship. I myself am quite short (only 5'3") so I havn't seen many guys shorter than me. I don't think that a persons height should matter.

that reminds me long long time ago when i went on a blind date this guy was like 4' something and i am 5'5" now u know i was not ready 4 dat. i was like omg. so no i dont like men who are shorter than me especially a whole '

Oh no - not cool. Lol. Me..personally...I'm just not comfortable with it. I want to be with a man that can wrap me up in his arms and make me feel like he could protect me against the world. I LOVE being with a man that I can look UP TO when I kiss him and who's clothes I can "swim" in. Plus...every now and then I want to be able to wear a pair of heels without towering over a man. I stand 5'7, so I'm not the shortest chick..but I love being with a man that makes me feel (PHYSICALLY) tiny. Lol.

I didnt have a problem with my last boyfriend being shorter than me but he had a problem with it. I wore flat shoes for 5 years and sometimes I'd walk in the street while he walked on the sidewalk just to boost his ego temporarily !
