I think we have it totally backwards in the USA. Teachers are one of the lowest paid professions, but in my opinion one of the most valued. I think we either loose or totally miss the good ones because of the pay. I'm not...

If you are including earnings from referrals mention that otherwise it is hard to compare. I have zero referrals this is my 3rd day and the most I've earned for a day is $1.02 . How much better have you done?

ahrdwrkr I've been out of school over 20 years and we've NEVER held a reunion. People have tried a couple times to put on together and it just never happened. Now I'm like you...I'm not sure I would want to go.

ahrdwrkr I agree totally. I have been "subbing" this year and I'll tell ya...some of these kids just make you want to think twice about doing it. Then there's the ones with the hunger and love for learning in their eyes that just make it all worth while.

Do you think kids should go to school all year instead of being out in the summers?

ahrdwrkr Oh definitely. When they have year round school, they go for like 8 wks then get a 2 week break or something like that. They still are out for holidays. They are just not out for 2 or 3 months in the summer like they are now.
