Are video games addicting harmful?

If kids play these games at their free time, and without locking themselves in room in front of pc, then it will not be addictive. Its the parents who must control the time of their kids, to vary between games with their friends, reading and studying, hobbies etc. Games can be addictive especially at young ages.

you are right dude..children these days are really getting addicted to video games these days which affects their health and most important their studies..i think parents should keep control on their children by not allowing to waste much of their on video games..
