Who has advantage here in Mylot

I guess you're right. this is a ni9ce evaluation of the active MyLot users. Of course it will be dependent on these factors. It's a matter of having these factors to benefit you or not.

I do agree with you, but out of all my referrals only a couple are active. And for the time I spend here, I think my earnings are great. Yes, you would have to spend a whole lot of time here earn anything remotely substantial. Mylot will not earn you a living, but can enhance your money. To make more.... Learn to type faster Learn better English (this will help the better writer part) Get unlimited internet connection I'd really suggest keeping your day job..lol Join forums and discussion groups or create site to promote your referral links Be patient and honest More than 500 posts only means you can copy and paste, which you don't want to do anyway as it can get you in trouble.

Yeah and also people who just read the first comment and then make their post not like me at all I normally spend all my time reading the posts and forgetting to put in my own comments.... oh well I enjoy reading them so doesn't matter as Im still getting something out of it then I guess.

I agree with you, people who have these skills are in better shape for getting more out of Mylot than other people, but they must also have good ideas for their discussions, presented in an interesting and comprehensive way, that will make people want to answer them.

I agree with you completely. I do type fast, I have to admit that. And my native language is English. My internet connection is by cable. Since I do a lot freelance work I am near the computer more often than some. However, I don't know how to get referrals. I am a patient person. I've been told that I am a good writer. And I have over 500 posts. And yes I have noticed that I would be considered one of the 'lucky' ones. And yet why do I still feel so empty?

you are right,I also want to express my thoughts and opinisons,but my Enlishi is very poor.I often come here to see articles and expect to improve my English.I think that is my benefits here.

Yes I agree with you to a point but as you stay longer here you improve in all areas, we are all a little slow at the start, I know I was but I have improved in many ways since posting in here , I think it is a wonderful learning tool for people...

I totally agree with you misshoney plus those who have the determination also and self-motivated and those who have courage, that even if without or don't possess some of those which are on the list are still here to try and improve themselves!

They sure have a very big advantage as they can type faster and more. combined with skills in English and the ability to express their views in very good language over the others. Although I have to disagree that people with bad English are at a disadvantage. Although they do not have a monetary advantage, they still get to learn English reading other's discussions and responses. I still do not understand how people with over 500 posts have an advantage. If you are referring to the copy paste feature, then you should know that there are many people who do not use that feature. They express their ideas from their hearts and minds and not from a web page. bourne

for me, i guess those mylotters who give out full effort here. replying or posting on a daily basis. I notice before that if i do it everyday, i'm really earning. It doesn't have to be a good writer or fast encoder but at least it is understandable and is not below the belt or within the guidelines of mylot.

I wonder if your rating has something to do with how much you make also.

People who don't eats much, people who is logical thinking and critical, people who has many questions in mind or projects to share, people who is open minded, teachers and professors. And yes, I agree with you.

You could say that people with good english/native english have advantage here and people who type fast with computers have advantage. But think it as this way, the one who really have the advantage is the people who are learning english and learning how to type faster with keyboard. Think about it. Your typing and english gets better everytime you write a new response. Your english gets better also when you just read the discussions. So the one with most advantage is actually the people who are not speaking native english. I am from Finland, yet i have pretty decent english in my opinion. Ofcourse the ones who speak native english can sense the mistakes of my english, but that really doesnt matter if people can atleast understand you. I get better too all the time i am in here and that is the most valuable thing atleast for me. The money is only a little spice in the whole thing. :)

Hi Misshoney, Good topic, and some very good points..But everyone can get there in their own good time. Typing can be improved by more practice. English can be improved by reading other posts. Participating in discussion of varied topics can improve one's mind. Always being open minded is a good thing too. Always respect other posts, no matter what the topic. Remember everyone is entitled to their own opinions. So don't be afraid to respond with your comments on topics. I definitely agree with you, some people do have advantages, but they have been working at it for a while and that may be how they got that advantage. It is something we can get if we work at it too. As for myself, I have a full time job and do this for relaxation and enjoyment. I like meeting new people and sharing experiences of true life. I think it is a good thing. Have a nice day..

I agree with all of the sentences. I think the most important ones are for those who type fast and for those who have time. Time is crucial, and if you dont type fast then you got way too less responses, then that means way too less earnings. If you dont speak good english, theres chance people will rate you with "-", and thats not right in my opinion. Unlimited internet connection is also serious advantage.

i don't think you need to type fast - we are not racing for the posts. speaking English definitely helps as we are an English-based site - you need to understand and be understood. no day job? being active, and having active referrals here are the main things - just follow the guide-lines and enjoy yourself - that's really all you need.

Hi, I totally agree with you. The facts you gave are really probably true. If you type fast, you can post more responses and new discussions=more money. people who have unlimited internet connections can be online all the time and not have to pay extra for it=more money people (like me) that do not have day jobs have more time to post responses and new discussions=more money people that have alot of referrals will make more money with getting money off their referrals people who are patient will patiently sit by the computer making more responses and new discussions=more money people who are good writers tend to like to write alot=more money don't know about the more than 500 posts lol Thanks for sharing and have a good evening, Char :-)

I can that people who have loyal list of friends here have the advantage. And of course it is hard to build a list of loyal friends. To have loyal friends, you have to be a loyal friend yourself. And I believe what other respondents here say that all of these advantages can be learned throughout one's stay here in mylot. You may learn to type fast, you may learn to be good in English, you may have fast internet connection (save your earnings and upgrade), you may lose you job (not advisable ), you may have referrals, you are patient already, you may be a good writer, and lastly, you already have more than 500 posts.
