woo woo, be careful , dude, or you will evoke japanese here, though i am a chinese. still i am glad you say it aloud.

I believe Japanese and Chinese came from the same gene pool. So I think they have lots of similarities so I agree with the other respondent that it depends on individual person. Generally though, both nations are smart or they wouldn't be in the place where they are now.

Friend,i believe that it depends upon each person. i believe that we should not generalize it because each person are unique.I am very much happy that you ask this questions because a lot of people generalize each country. It's like pack one pack all. This believe should stop because it only discriminate each of the country. People are different in m many other ways specially when we talk about being smart. Chinese people and japanese people are both smart and they do not need to compare . im sorry

Friend,I don't know what makes you think so.But it is sort of childish.I am a chinese too,i am proud of my country.Every country has its own spirit,coulture,advantage and disadvantage.As we kown,"Our five fingers with different length". There is difference between individual and whole. Please,do not describe a truth following your personal fancy,ok?

As far as I know there hasn't been any study to prove that. It depends on each individual. There's not race or color on that.
