Would you agree to shave your head,

Lets say that you are in desperate need of money the trouble is you have no way to borrow the money so a bank will not lend you the money, your family and friends do not have the amount of money you need to help you out. You find out that there is an old crazy man who is rich living in the area and he does give money to people, but he will ask them to do something crazy if they really want the money bad enough. You you know this guy is your last resort, so you figure you have nothing to lose to see what he would ask of you in return for the money. You explain the situation to him, he says sure I will give you the money if you shave your head, well you are a woman with long beautiful hair and you want to think about it, too late he yells, because you did not answer me with a yes, now I will only give you half of what you want, if you shave your head but you have one way to redeem yourself, if you agree to having the heads shaved of everyone in your immediate family I will give you more than what you want, I will give you a half of million dollars, take it or leave it, nothing or more, as long as everyone in the family shaves his or her head, I ask it just the one time and you are all free to grow your hair again, after that, would you accept these conditions?

hahahahaha! Tough one! But, as you have mentioned, he is the last resort, I will say yes but I will not be forcing my relatives if they want to do it, I am sure not everyone will do it for they have their own money! LOL! ANyway, for me, it can be a new look or style and I can grow it back...But, If there are other options...LOL! I will not do it!

LOL I do believe this is the strangest discussion I've ever responded to. But yes, I'd shave my head. Couldn't answer for family since they don't live with me, but I would do it for a large enough amount of money. Hmmmm and thats sad really. Couple of years ago my mom lost her beautiful hair to cancer/chemo. I joked with her and said mom I love you, but I'm not shaving my head to match you. Sad, I wouldn't do it for mom (not that she asked) but I would for money.

I can certainly understand where you are coming from on this. I sometimes but up strange discussions like this, but most of the time they are very serious ones, I just like to change around from time to time.

That is something I might would do if I was really in need of money. At the same time I am not sure if my family would agree and do it also. That would be a hard choice for me since I have long hair below my shoulders that is in pretty good condition right now. I would really have to pray and also have to talk it over with my family I am not sure how well they would take something like this.

yeah but hair does grow back, and it would be just one time and all that money you would have and I guess you could split it with your family if you wanted to.

I'll do it with a smile .. If I'll get about a million more than that !!! If my family members denies me from shaving there heads.. then I will even fool them to shave their heads.. ha ha ha ha ...!! Shaving your hairs from your head off is not a big dare for me..!! I'll even ask him that if he wants me to do any thing more to get some more money.. Yes it should a decent thing .. not like you'll have to strip for me or sleep with him etc.. :)

I would do it, I have always loved all the different wigs that are available now and so I would be able to have a couple of those, so it would not be too bad. Most of the people in my immediate family are boys and so having their heads shaved would not matter to them either. The only fly in the ointment would be my daughter as she has gorgeous blonde hair with a bit of a curl in the ends I would dither about her, but maybe I would pass her off as the next door neighbours child and pretend she was not mine!

I actually almost shaved my hair for $1500 and fame lol. I got an offer for a commercial that would have required me to do a video of me getting ready for a date and not knowing what to do with my hair and in the end I shave it and look even hotter bald. I was gonna do the shoot untill I got the contract and found it too be worded funny and backed out cause I didnt trust id get the money. I have not seen the commercial air so I have a feeling the agency didnt get anyone else to do it.

Sure, I would absolutely do it. I think my husband would do it too. I've always wanted to shave my head to see what it looks like anyway so the money is a definite bonus. I guess if it looked really bad I could wear scarves and/or a wig to cover it.

If there is no other way for me to earn some money to feed my family, I think I can bear to lose my hair. Not that I would be happy about it mind you. I love my hair and I like to have it attached to my skull, that is... Anyway, if I really have to shave my hair for a noble cause, them I am willing to make that sacrifice. Anyway, my hair will grow back. Natalie Portman and Demi Moore did shave their hair for the sake of their movies.

I would not! I would never ask my family to suffer for my needs! That would be like selling my soul or something. Now if I were saving someones life or getting money for charity I would shave my head but never ask my family to. xoxoxoxoxo

I would shave my head without a second thought but I will not speak for my family so I would just have half the money and be happy I had that. When I went through chemo therapy for cancer I lost my hair so it would not be a shock to me to be bald, there are times now I would love to shave my head. hahaha

ah but you didn't read the catch, the crazy man withdrew the offer of just you shaving your head, he wanted everyone to do it, but you would be paid handsomely.

I thought only because in the discussion she was turned down was because she hesitated then he made her the other deal about her family. That is why I said I would do it without any hesitation therefore he would not have to make the other offer to me for more money. I would have taken him up on his first offer his head would be spinning. hahaha

well if i m in desperate need for money i would shave it in the first go without giving a second thought.but if not then i would simply say go to hell.i mean the next day he would say i would give u 1 million if u and ur family kisses my behind .thats simply stupid.if u wanted the money u should have said yes in the first place hey its only hair and u can always grow them back and lot of celebs had gone bald so its not that bad.

My answer to him without hesitation would be yes, I would shave my head. Hair will grow back, but the stress from a financial problem could cost you a life long health issue. I would definitely say yes, with no second thoughts. Does such a man exists? LOL if so, tell me who he is.

This is a very creative one, so I would like to answer even if you directed the question to women (lets just say i am a woman lol). If I would find myself in a particular situation that I really need some money. I would easily agree without having second thoughs. I am sure my family will also agree to have their heads shaven. You know half a million dollars is a large amount of money especially if you know how to spend it wisely. :)

I would be one ugly bald woman.lol But I would say heck yeah point me to the razor, then take the money go out and buy a wig, a good one. and well the boys could wear hats..I would accept those terms. I owuld be appalled the first time and I would hesitate, but I would take the half million and run..of course after shavingm y head and everyone else's I am sure I would have to promise things for them and promise big. A teenage girl would definately wouldn't do it unless promised a car, wardrobe and tons of other things because they are partial to their hair.

I've never heard of anything so bizarre. Of course I would not have my family do this. Money isnt' everything- Would I shave mine?? If I had to- there are wigs- but I wouldn't ask my family to.

this is a hypothetical situation not a real one, it is just designed to see if people would do this for a great sum of money remember in this situation you need the money, you could be in serious debt or really destitute either way it asks if you would do it for the money you need, not just extra money to blow for no reason whatsoever, thank you for your answer

Sure would, it is hair, it grows back, right now it is so short by halloween you would never know that I had shaved my head. As for my immediate family, I don't think any of them are that vain that they would say NO. I used to have hair that braided was down below my butt. As you might guess now it is short. My son shaved his head once when a friend of his who had leukemia came back to school so he would not feel so all alone.

Hi my friend, If I needed money very badly and had no other way to get it and someone offered me a half of million dollars, I would indeed shave my head. And let's see, immediate family for me would be my hubby and maybe my 25 year old son. Both of them would definately shave their heads too, as long as I'd share the money. lol Have a nice night, Char :-)
