Today I went to a bookfair in Tokyo. I found very rare books on cheaper price and purchsed. English books fair will not happen in Tokyo frequently. What about you? How often you buy books for your personal interest? Please share your experience.

I dont really buy books too much anymore for one thing I cant really afford it, for another I have quite a collection already, There are one or two on Amazon.com that I am considering. There is a used bookstore near here that I could buy a book if I wanted to I may buy something there. There is also a very large bookfair about 80 miles from here that I may go to someday. I think they have a large amount of books to choose from.

One or two story books a month - very slow reader. But I can only do this as I'm flying a lot. I also try to read a "work" book every two months.

I don't ever buy books. I just borrow them. My mom and aunt buy alot of books to read so I borrow them from them and read them then give them back so they can give them to someone else to read. It saves alot of money that way.

Hi I just buy the most of my books at the charity store, where they are wel priced o nthe whole, but lol there are some that can be pretty dear, the art is to watch out for the sales and then the books wil be five for a pound or something silly,But I use the library too, there is little point for me to buy the books from new,as I have to just give them away.

I do not buy much books these days. the main reason is that due to job and many other responsibilities, i do not have many visits to bookstores. now also we are having bookfair problems for 3 years in a row in our city. still when i get chance i buy the book.

I buy books 3 times a week or when I have money to spare for the precious books. Almost half of my salary goes on books but now I’m taking a break. Need to save money and since I got a dog that need to be fed, I’m forced to cut my budget for the book. I just buy 1 book for a week and sometimes there’s none when the money is tight. It saddened me not to read books for a whole week but things need to be done.

I got most of my books from stores that sold secondhand, they're cheap and still in good condition. =) One book you can buy from bookstores, you can get 5 to 15 secondhand books.

I have a huge library. However, there are always more books that I want. I haven't had a chance to buy any more books recently; I have been watching my budget. However, I have been giving the public library system a good workout, and I have been delving into some of the volumes that I already own but haven't gotten around to reading. Now, if I get anywhere near a used book sale, my budget will be shot. I have a weakness for books.
