On the news today they were talking about Tilapia being not that good for you. A study was done on the omega fat content of fish. Omega 6 not good for you, while omega 3 is good for you. They found out that tilapia has more omega 6 fats then bacon, hambergers and donuts. On the other hand, it has a very low omega 3 content. The question was raised, is fish really good for you? What do you think?

I have heard this about Omega 6 and Omega 3 before but what I have never heard of is Tilapia. What is Tilapia? Is it a type of fish?

I am not a fan of fish. So it really isn't an issue for me. For my omega 3 I take flax seed oil. or fish oil containing omega 3.

It was yesterday on Fox and Friends with Dr Manning. It was the Dr. that was disgusting this. The doctor said, eating fish is a good idea, and that we need to be aware of good fish and bad fish. When he learned of the study he too was shocked, because this is his favorite fish.
