I have accounts with both. I started on MySpace, but found it too confusing and felt a bit like it was full of teens and so I felt a bit old ;) Someone mentioned Facebook, which I also joined, and instantly found it a lot easier to use. I enjoy it as it is not just a social community, but it has great games, and novel ways of connecting with friends, apart from just talking. I for some reason also feel safer uploading my pics to Facebook, than I do on MySpace. I tend to use FB once at least a day, where as MySpace, about once every 2 or 3 months, so I know which I prefer!

I agree. Facebook is soooo much easier to use. Less crud I think than that of Myspace. And also I think its safer and secure like you said. I also feel comfy with adding more pics. I use mine alot =]

Both are very good social networking sites...Here you can make new friends easily...Here you can get lots of friends that you have not made in your whole life...

I do agree with you 100%, here you can make new friends. But on myspace I can find some old friends that I haven't heard from or known where they were in years, some I went to school with and others that I grew up close to when a kid.

I am on MySpace because I have a few close friends that use the MySpace messenger and I like to keep in touch with them. Lately, it seems to be overrun by teens and a lot of kid stuff. Since I am of the older generation this isn't really my cup of tea. I do go on the site every once in awhile to update my page and see what everybody is up to. I've never been on Facebook so I have no clue how that is. Have a good day, Char

I am on myspace and I do like it. I can keep up with friends on there and family also. They also keep putting up new pictures of their families and vacation pictures and other things. I like too that you can put really cute things on your myspace and really cool backgrounds and your music ... those last two things I mentioned I have not figured out how to do on mylot.

I am registered in myspace, but havent bothered at all to check it last months. I dont like it much. people tend to fill their profile pages with moving backgrounds many pics sounds etc, and it all gets too confusing to see. If you cant read text or focus to what you see, because all is moving weirdly, and full of colors, why bother to check a profile?

I'm on both, but don't do anything much with them. I joined Facebook to keep up with a family member who was travelling overseas. I joined MySpace because someone wanted to show me her MySpace photos and I couldn't look until I was a member.

I do not use Facebook, but I use Myspace. My network on Myspace is literally all people I know. I don't use it for any other purpose. I will promote an event I'm throwing or a party a friend is throwing or something else, but I don't use it other than that really. Sometimes I will respond to a survey or something in bulletins. I'd say out of my 415 friends, I have 380 friends and the rest are business related. There may be 2 or 3 stragglers in there that I have on there and do not know because their page was interesting or they post interesting things. Myspace is boring, though. When I'm on there, all I do is find myself refreshing my stuff to see if anything changed (and it didnt)...now that I found MyLot, I have something else to be addicted to!

Hello there! I am actually on BOTH sites. Both for different reasons. I first started off by having a myspace. Then I had heard that alot of my friends had also had a facebook. A friend of mine convinced me to get one and at first I hardly used it. Now I use facebook wayyy more than myspace. And I think that myspace notices this from its users. Myspace has definately copied things that facebook has done, such as the applications and stuff. But overall I think that Facebook is a bit easier to navigate and is less full of junk add ons like myspace has. I also think it's a bit safer just due to some privacy options. But then again, 100% safety is at the hands of the user. Just my input. =]
