What school supplies does your school require you to buy for your child? Or do they supply everything for your child? Is there something that you buy your child every school year as a tradition?

Well we don't really need to buy much for the youngest ones as all tehy really need to take with them are some pencils and a pe kit and the older ones just need the stationery appropriate to what subjects they are studying and a pe kit! We buy new uniforms every year , and the way my kids grow, during the year as well! lol My kids love stationery so we always buy them new pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, pencil cases etc at the start of the school year and add them in with their birthday gifts (both have their birthday just before school goes back!) They also like to get new school bags and notebooks just before going back to school as well! xxx

i need everything. as some of you know my oldest son is starting college. so i went yesterday and got him everything, new underwear, sock, pjs, pens, pencils, soap shampoo, i mean everything he is going to need for the next 5 months. for my middle son he is going to need the same things, like notebooks, pens, pencils and things like that. that is the same thing i get him every year and will get every year until he is finished HS.

he is going to stay on campus. and oh my it is a wonderful place for a young person to start their life. i was so totally impressed with the college when we drove up there the other day. I have two left at home. 13 and 3. so i got a was before i am all alone. which is good because i don't know what i would do if it was just me and my hubby.

My son came home from his last day of second grade with his third grade school supply list. Now I just have to find it. It was not that long though. I remember that part. Everything on the list would cost less than $15. I think it was just the basic notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, glue, Kleenex, and folders.

See we don't get lists. But at the begining of the school year they do ask us to donate a box or two of tissues I think that tis the only thing on that list LOL~!!! I'll have to wait until I get the new list to tell you ..

hi dear well i need to buy everything for my three year old son...his books, uniforms, water bottle, tiffin box, pencil box, colors, shoes, socks, kerchiefs for pinning, raincoats..well he is a growing child so almost all of it is bought every year..in fact he often ends up breaking water bottles and loosing his tiffin box so that we normally buy and keep spare in the house..

My kids' school supplies everything they will need for the year (with a $30 supply fee). I sometimes think I could find the supplies for a lot less on my own, but this way, all the students have the exact same brands and stuff. We also have to supply our own backpacks and a fee for a class t-shirt. I still buy school supplies when they go on sale (usually after school starts they're really cheap) because the teachers seem to run out of pencils at some point. We also do a lot of artsy things at home and my younger son (6yrs old) LOVES to cut up papers and then glue them together:) This year, I am trying NOT to buy new backpacks or lunchboxes--boys, please use the ones from last year...and the year before...

LOL, Unfortunately my kids are force to be reckon with so the book bags are destroyed with in the first year they have them and I end up buying new ones any hoe. LOL!!! My kids school doesn't have us spend a supply fee they just supply the stuff but I wonder if they would charge a supply fee it they would be able to get more of the things the school needs?

i always buy the typical folders, notebook and crayons/pencils/etc.. but so far every year these things have been provided for by the school and the ones i buy her winds up being used for school work here at home. think this year i might have to invest in a new backpack tho.. shes been using this one for two years now. i will hafta inspect it beforehand and make sure it isnt tattered or worn too much and find out if a new one is necessary.
