You need to reach 200 posts first before you can use the mylot code (smileys, bold, italize, underline). Don't worry, you'll get there before you know it.

Oh, I also forgot to mention that I am making much more use out of the mylot code too which is basically the smiley faces, bold, italics, etc.

How do you add the 'faces'?

Well that's definitely true! Too bad it's hard to find people willing to be active referrals. *siiigh*. I've recruited a lot of people to Mylot but after about a week or two, sometimes lasting as long as a month they're gone and never seem to come back! I guess. I should just keep trying. This is a fun and worthwhile site & i'm not too entierly much here to make money, more.. the learning experience! I'm suprised more people don't stay. I guess the whole making money thing makes them wonder about the legitimacy of the site?

Hi Louie! I've noticed that too. Many recruits are just looking to get rich quick and that is not going to happen on Mylot.

Ah well. I guess to some degree it's always going to be like that. But I guess it comes with the fact that is a paying site to post stuffff.

Yeah, but it's probably best that we don't know how Mylot's payment system works, just that it pays. Or well, that's what I think anyways.

And how do you deal with unresolved posts?

Well yeah, until you hit the 500 posts or whatever, you can't really use allll the features. Some tips for you are you should post at least 2-3 sentances on each discussion, use the smileys n' etc feature(Mylot code located to the left of the posting area) once you hit 200 posts, and once you hit 500 posts try to make use of the upload picture feature at the bottom of the posting area. I believe it's 500 posts, anyways! Of course, rating & marking best responses is helpful too! See the plus, minus, and an! next to everyone? Mark plus or minus to rate someone based on what you personally thought of their response, and mark the exclamation point if you want to report a member for "abuse" such as not following Mylot's guidelines! There is also the blog feature which I personally haven't really used yet but i've heard you can earn a decent amount from that too!Keep in mind also when making and responding to discussions you should try to focus more on your interests or your "'niche" so to speak like. Are you a computer kind of guy? Gaming? etc. Focus on that area more often then others. Of course, exploring other interests is fun too but make sure you have something interesting to say whether it be a discussion, or a response!

It isn't impossible at all! Just make your responses about two more sentences longer than you are doing now. Update your profile, upload pictures, add mylot.com codes, and comment on people who respond to your discussions. I hardly ever start discussions and still can make about $2 easily. You don't even have an avatar and you have almost 200 posts. Think about it this way. If you and your close friends were talking, what would you say to them? How would you express yourself? Think of all these thousands of members as friends asking questions or commenting on things they like. Have fun and enjoy it and you'll see your earnings increase....I promise!

Yep! Then after 200 your new goal would be 500, probably! After hitting 500 you can pretty much utilize the features 100% to raise those Mylot earnings of yours,

Well, I only was in a testing stage really. I could have posted so much more, and did so much more but I wanted to experiment to see how much I could with individual features. Fullscale would mean me putting all the different features together and putting them to use to the best of my ability! You should try to use the smiley faces too, every little bit helps! Also, uploading a picture every now and then should help you to notice a difference. Make sure to be rating discussions & marking best responses for your own too! All of this should actually help you out quite a bit! Hopefully my tips and explanations made sense to you.

Yep yepppp. The biggest thing you could do is participate. Obviously the more your participate the more you should make! Have you tried uploading photos? They help more then you would think. You should also as long as you're responding, pop in a smiley face or two. They help a bit, and if you do it enough... they seem to help a lot! Also, the more popular your discussion seems to be, the more you'll make. Maybe putting a bit more thought into each discussion you make may help more then you think ? That's all I can think of now. Possibly even trying to find your 'niche so to speak would help as well? Like. What are your areas of expertise? Try to focus more of your posts & discussions into them so that you can come out with better responses & discussions! They also have blogs you can do, I don't really do them myself.. I think that's the only feature I don't do, but i've heard from others that they help as well!
