The Last Cookie

It sits on the plate looking delicious, and everyone wants it, but everybody politely leaves it. Then my husband eats it ...

If there is someone else there with me I will offer it, but if it sits there all alone just waiting for someone to come along and eat it you better believe Im going to snag it...lol

Well if I feel like I have ate enough cookies already. Or if I have a guest and it is the last cookie. I always ask if they want it.

That depends. If I'm at home with just DH with me, I will take it (hey, he has to be faster to race me to the last one ). If I'm having guests over I will offer it to them, it they won't have it I'll take it. I'm a cookieperson, I love cookies and sweets, so it's not easy to stay away from them. I'm glad I learned at least to offer them to my guests in stead of having them all for myself. Have a nice day

Well the culture here is that people are actually reluctant to get the last piece of whatever food there is. Usually it is offered to another person and to another if that person doesn't want to get it. If no one wants it then that's the only time he will take it for himself.

I usually dont even get a chance to offer it to anyone else much less eat it myself. With 3 young boys in my house cookies don't last long!

I would break it in half and share it with my husband.

It all depends. If I were at a party, then I would ask if someone wants the last cookie. But if I am home i have the last cookie. At home I am the only one that is eating the cookies anyway.

Well, since I usually bake them, i often get it! But really, it's whoever goes for it first, which is often my husband as well. If he sees it is the last, he won't leave it for me - he thinks I don't need them and should watch my weight better.

I would probably end up having it. LOL! Out of courtesy, I do offer it to others first. But predictably, as most people are , they refuse it most of the time. Well, good for me. he he he!

If I'm at home then I'd gladly take it without thinking twice. With the eating machines around here, I'd be lucky to get a piece. But if I'm not at home, then I'll decline. Unless if it was offered to me.

If I like it I will eat it and dont give it to someone. But if I dont like it, I offer it to someone else.

Makes me grin... At home it's gonna be a race for all for the that great last cookie. With my friends, the same thing happens. If it is in a formal gathering, well...I'll be contented staring at it and convince myself that I hate cookies.
