Are You Using Them All?
I used to own four when I was still working. Had very high credit limits because I guess i had a higher than usual salary. But then, I had higher amounts to pay too every payday.
When I got remarried and had to stay at home, paid them and dropped them all before retiring. I don't want my husband to be in deep debt and we both want to start the marriage and our new life debt free. He did the same thing..
We don't use one right now, funny because he works with a credit card company!!
He knows how it works "inside", and he doesn't wanna even try owning one again..I wonder why.....

i have no credits card at the moment and i have no plan to get in the near future. i don't want to be bothered by those sales agent of a bank company about a credits card. i don't want also to receive any bill payments every months. i hate credits card because of it's high interest. why use card when i can pay it in cash LOL...

I have two, and they are debit cards, not credit cards. If the money isn't in the bank, they're no good. One is from my local bank, the other is from PayPal. I used my PayPal card all over when I was in Russia last year with no problem.

i used to have 3 credit cards when i was younger, and i ran all up to a pretty high amount, was hard to pay them off and it took a while. Now i only have 1 credit card and it is a pre-paid credit card so i don't have to worry about going into debt but when a credit card is needed i still have that ability

Yikes! Yesterday was my payday for my 6 credit cards. I use 5 for myself and I had my mom as an extension for 1 and have her use it for their food. It makes it more convenient for me especially on lean season and there are things that my mom needs to buy - medicine, food, etc.
I know I had to lose one or two. I will, eventually. I use one for school expenses, one for food and medicine, the other one for utilities as it gives me the freedom not to fall in line and I can just pay my cc online. The others for clothes and emergency.
Managing finances is really tough. I will eventually be on the non-credit side and I am looking forward to that.

I have 3. I just use them to build my credit. I don't like using them but they do help raise your credit score.

Well, right now I have 2 personal, and my husband has 1 personal, and then we have one that is joint. We lately are trying to get them paid off instead of using them unless it is an Emergency as well. All the extra charges that come from these, and when you realize how much you are paying as well when you could use that money for other things is Crazy as well. None of ours have really high limits like some people might have, but they are high enough for us.

I have 3 but they are maxed (with very low credit limit under $300 each) and when I get them paid off I am cutting them up and sticking with my two debit cards. I like debit better than credit cause you don't have a tendacy to over spend with a debit where you do with a credit card.

My husband and I do not have any credit cards. We like to use our debit cards or eveything. I am Canadian, he's American, and we both have American debit cards, bdcause they can be used like cedit cards, whereas the Canadian debit ccards do not come with that option.

Hi eihdra, I have two credit cards currently. I use them to do my purchase only for those goods which to pay without bank service charged. I also use them to pay certain bills like my network connection and tv programs subscription as well. It’s also quite convenient to make online booking of hotel accommodation and flight ticket using credit card. Usually we would get lower prices of these online booking via credit card.
I do my monthly shopping using my credit card only in the two nearby hypermarkets which don’t have to pay extra service charge. Normally we have to pay the 3% of bank service charge if we purchase goods in almost all the outlets in our country. This means that the good we bought is 3% higher than those we bought with cash. This is still not worthy anyway, though we could pay the bill a month later.
I always try my best to pay the credit cards bill a couple days earlier before the due date, for I hate to pay the extra charge of 5% for the late payment made.
posting and take care.

I have one credit card with a minimum limit, and when I use it, I usually pay 2 installments and its done.
I try to keep it clean.
I use my debit card all the time, cause that is my money, when I dont have money I dont use it, so it cant accumulate interest. I think for me it is the better way to go.
