How satisfied are you with your current life?

Wow! That's a hard question! I am extremely happy (5) where I am in life. I have everything I've ever wanted or needed. I've wanted a home in the country with enough land to grow fruit and nut trees and have a really large vegetable garden, and I got that last year when we moved. I have a wonderful husband and my kids are on their own and successful. BUT, my health is not good enough to do the gardening!!! I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2002, and with lupus in 2007. I also have osteoarthritis. So, I simply don't have the energy or stamina and have too much pain in order to do all of the gardening I want to do. I've had dreams of canning my vegetables, which takes a lot of work, but I simply do not have the energy anymore. So, I'd have to give that part of my life a "1".

I would say mine would be a 3 also. I am happy, but there are things that I still looking forward to like financial freedom, graduating, getting a higher paying job, and building my new home.

i'm happy & thankful for the life i have. it could be better of course but it could be a whole lot worse & it has been. i'm thankful for every day i have.

i'm not satisfied right now with my current life. theres something missing it my life that why it's not complete at the moment. i'm still waiting for the right girl whom i'll spend the rest of my life. a girl who will add color to my world, a girl whom i'll offer all the things that i've right now. a girl whom i will love for the rest of my life and love me also in return...

Yes thats life. Nobody said it would be so easy. There is a thin line between happiness and satisfaction. I would say you can be happy when you are satisfied and vice versa. I think I am in the number 3 scale. I am happy at the moment but I still have to accomplish a lot of things for myself and my family. Most probably when I will be able to achieve those things in mind then that I would be really satisfied hopefully soon.

i do not fall into your category.i would say it is 2.i am still making efforts to get what i want and that is ,it seems to me,is far far away.i am of the opinion that one must carry on making efforts to achieve he/she wants .

My life is okay, it is not bad. It has its ups and downs, but who's life doesn't?

From your scale of 1 to 5, my satisfaction level with my current life is 5! I guess partly this is because I am an optimist by nature, and partly also because I really have a very blessed life. I have a very loving husband, a baby on the way, parents who have stuck together which is rare these days, and parents in law who are very nice. I have a good job that is interesting though stressful at times and many wonderful friends in my church group. I have a nice small home, and life is the way I want it to be. Hope you get what you are longing for too.

I've been married for almost 7 years now. And we have a son who's turning 5 years old this September. As for my current life, I'm giving it a 4. Despite the fact that my family is facing the biggest challenge of our lives, we can still find reasons to be happy. Actually, we choose to remain happy despite these challenges. I strongly believe that we are responsible for our own actions. If we end up miserable, it's because we have let ourselves feel that way. We CHOOSE TO BE THAT WAY. I'm comfortable in saying that I'm satisfied with how my life is going right now. And I won't exchange it for anything.

Yea. Of course life ain't perfect. Life ain't perfect because we ain't perfect. I always feel that it's the imperfection in Life that makes life interesting. Without the downs and sadness in life, we might not appreciate the ups and happiness as much. The downs and sadness in life are there to contrast the ups and happiness. The downs and sadness are also there to make us stronger. With Light, comes Shadow (darkness). If we want to be happy, I guess it's only fair to take a little unhappiness in life. I would rate my life 4. I thank God for a very blessed life.

I would give it about a 3. Things are ok but I do not have the money to do the things i would really like to do in life. I also am worried about my son, but I am happier now than I have been in the past 3 years. I would also like more friends and to do some other things. I think we should all strive to be at least a 4 or 5.

I would also say 3. Yes, I'm happy with my life now but I have lot of things I am looking to forward to like having a my own house, getting a high payment job so that I could help my family financially.

i think my life is up to 3.yeah, as i am a university student,my priority is to study hard.Before really exposed to society,I think my life now is cozy,but i have dreams,i want to achive my goals,so i also have to struggle.

I agree with you that life is not always perfect and there are always ups and downs in our lives. I am pretty much satisfied with my life =) And on a scale of 1-5, it would come somewhere around a 4. There are dreams that I have not yet fulfilled, there are still things that I want to do, and I am still not totally contended with what I have. If I achieved all that I want to achieve within the next 2 years, then it would grow to a 5. =D

I choose 3 for my currtent life, I live a simple and happy life. I'm still a student for my Ph D degree, and my current is normal and regular. I also concern about my graduation, because graduate from the Chinese Academy Science is not so easy.

In my opinion, no one in this world are satisfied with their life since they always need something more and they think they deserve something more. Its the human psychology to think this way. I am likely satisfied with my life such that i give 3 for my life on a scale of 5. This is a very good rating and satisfactory rating comparatively to the advantages and disadvantages of our qualities and personality.

If you want me to rank my life now,I think I will give it a 3 also. There are always ups and downs. But so far I am still happy with my life,just that sometimes I cannot stand with some weird,rude people step into my life. My life with boyfriend and family is so far so good. But life with colleagues,it's really sucks. There are too much of gossips and conflicts at my workplace that I really hate. I really wish to have a fun and peaceful workplace for me. Sigh....

well i can say im not that satisfied with my life but im happy with whats happening now. more peace and harmonious relationship inside the house. satisfactions has a lot of meaning. we can be satisfied with our life if we are financially stable or we can feel satisfied with regards to work. it all depends on us.

It is a 3 for me.I have a happy life and my parents love me very much.But with the age growing, I must think a lot of things,such as family,job and so on.I will face to look for a job this year.I don't kown if I can find a job which is fit for me and I am a bit fear now.
