After seeing The shock Jamie Oliver special last night..eat To live where they actually disect a real human body of a very over-weight man to show what fat does to the body, has really shocked me, i think I will be looking more cleosely at what i eat from now, it certainly is a show to make you think of your life, your body and what you are putting into your body, has any-one else seen this show...if it is shown in your area it would be a good idea to watch...we really are killing our-selves with what we are eating...

I so much wanted to watch that show last night lilaclady, but missed it as I was at the hospital visiting my hubby. I meant to record it but forgot! Doh! From reading your discussion, it sounds like I missed a good show and now I'm kicking myself. Here's hoping they will repeat it sometime soon.

Hi Aidah! How are you? My hubby had another angina attack - he is fine now and out of hospital. I think he likes scaring me, lol!

It was on here last night to but I did not watch it, I am not big on TV at the best of times and it really didn't take my fancy. Having said that though it is a great idea to inform people of what they are doing to their body. I think most people need to stop and have a look at the way they treat their body

I remember seeing this ages ago and yes it was shocking, although I was pretty pleased with us as we were eating none of the foods that had caused it. I thought it was a pretty interesting programme.

I think that if we knew the effect of many of the things that we consume, we most likely would not choose to do so. I have heard most of my life people that say that if it taste good it can't be good for you.

Hi lilaclady, I'm really glad I didn't see that, I couldn't stomach, excused my pun.Why do people let themselves go like that? too much fast food I guest. I like my veggies and fruits and I eat and fresh meat and I also cook my meals from scratch, not packet food or ready made meals. Tamarafireheart.
