They are whole grain pancakes with sliced bananas, blueberries and walnuts cooked inside. They serve them at a local restuarant, but lately I've been making my own. Just purchase whole grain pancake and waffle mix, mix it according to the package directions. Just before cooking throw in a handfull of fresh blueberries, cut up bananas and coarsely chopped walnuts. Cook them just like you would any other pancake.
These are very filling and 2 of these will hold you over all morning! The fruit and nuts add extra nutrition. These are especially good with real maple syrup.

yumm, those sound delicious. When I make pancakes, they're always whole grain and I often add banana, occasionally blueberries, but never tried nuts inside.
I love pancakes and have actually been thinking about making them the past couple of days...maybe we'll have pancake dinner.

wow, that sounds very delicious!can I call them the DIY food?DIY means do it yourself.I like fruits and nuts, they are tasty, and as you say, they are nutritious.
so,I believe I will like the Kamikaze cakes which you have made yourself very much.
I always make food myself, following the instructions on books or TV shows.it is a good way to enjoy our life,I think.food made by ourselves taste different with the same one brought in the resturants,I think.it contains our own heart in them,so it will be more delicious!
enjoy life,all the best!
