Lather, Rinse, Repeat - OR Read, Ignore, Repeat

i know that i've been guilty of posting similar discussions, but i don't think i practically DUPLICATING other ones - i know that this one is not the only rant, either, but it is getting so frustrating...that i just had to vent Vent VENT!
we see it in "how much did you make today/this month" "did anyone get paid yet" and "check out the BEST PTC" among others...
i responded to the changes discussion that was posted by mylot staff, then a dozen "similar discussions" popped up at the bottom - the change was only a few hours old!
do we all think that we can phrase the question/discussion better?
it seems like we'd get paid the same for the same length post, whether it's at the top of the discussion or the bottom.
i'm picturing something like this - we're all at a party; there's a huge teleprompter screen - it says...RIGHT NOW EVERYONE TALK TO YOUR NEIGHBOR ABOUT THE FOLLOWING...GOLD EXCHANGE RATES
- and if we deviate from the allowed topic - we lose our spot at the dinner table...

:). This answers my question RedFeather. :)
Yes you are true. We in a hurry or in tension start a new discussion and after posting it we come to know that it is actually a repost or duplicate. hmm.. But it is not. Because we use our own phrases, grammer and other things to phrase the question and we post it. So it all depends rather.
I dont think any question here is repeated. For example:
I can ask a question how to make a discussion as best response. The same question I can ask like this as well. Say I want to make a discussion a best response. how can I do it? or You can say "A best response is what I need. Pal help me doing it?".
Although we are asking the same question, it is different post and different phrases. And it depends on individual who understands the question too. Some sounds very emotional and some sounds arrogant. And people like emotional questions and responds quickly because everyone wants to help. And an arrogant question may not be answered some time.
So a peaceful discussion earns a lot of money than an arrogant discussion.
This is what I believe.
What you say?

no - just rephrasing something that someone else has posted does NOT make it a new discussion - that is exactly what i'm saying - so many of my friends here have said this to so many people...
if you want to discuss something, search it first - if you post responses in someone else's discussion, you still get credit for it - if that is the concern...plus there is the added benefit of feeling like you are in a real conversation, instead of feeling like you're talking to a wall because you've gotten no responses as people have already responded to a similar conversation, and are unwilling to repeat themselves.
if you are posing the above conversation, you may not get an answer - and i assume you WANT one? instead, you can search for the answer in another discussion - find in the replies the answer you seek, reply that someone has been very helpful to you - bingo!
by the way - a best response is given by the discussion starter, and it should not be requested, but earned.

The duplicating of discussions seems to be part and parcel of the myLot experience even though the guidelines say to do a search to see if similar topics are already posted.
I have done the topic search several times, found nothing on the subject I searched, and when the topic was posted (not my post, I was doing this for a friend) ... well ... there were several similar discussions at the bottom of the page. But they did not show up on the search.
