I refer to my manager about my resignation again, she reject me again. She said that she will arrange to employ a new one, but i still need to teach the new comer, untill he/she are familar with the business. I asked her for a limited time, she told me it depend on the situation. I have no other way, just hope she can employ a satisfied guy immedietly.

Why if you want to resign your manager tells you no? Are you risking compensation of some kind if you resign before someone else is hired? I do not understand, usually when someone resigns, they give their notice then leave. That is like they still have control over you even though you no longer want to work for them. You should be free to leave when you want to, unless you had a contract stating that you couldn't until someone else was trained. When I resigned from my company, I gave a two week notice, and the day I said I was leaving I left.

In that case, I hope they get a replacement soon, so that you can leave and go on with your life. Wishing you the best.

Thank you for your kindly comment, dear friend. There is no contract,no written policy. It's just our manager's meaning. They don't want to use any costs to train a new comer this time,so they force me to do this,or they won't approve my resignation. In that way, i can't get my wage. I am unhappy these days.

Unless you have signed a contract or the company has it in written personnel policies that you have to find or train your replacement, there should be no reason for them to make you stay, and no reason that they can hold your pay.

Good Day Baby ! First Don't Accept Stay And Teach The Replacement Too Soon ,Your Manager Is A Witch And She Just Want Deprive You And Use You ,What She Saying Shows There Is Something She Afraid About,It Would your Position Being vacuum after your leaving ,so you'd better have this and asking for your 2 month wages ,at least 1 month . second ,in case the witch didn't even one month ,that means she never want to give ,you should better leave right now ,no use waste your time.but before you leave ,you'd better have the client's details ,this will be useful when you enter others company . or try other ways to ask your wages likes find the lawyer's help ,send law letter to them ,or call media and let every body knows how shame about them ,or find the government's help . you know what we can do just do advise . good lucky for you and being strong for this !

YOU are the one that sets the time limit, not your manager. When you resign, you simply say that you will be gone in two weeks. Your employer cannot make you stay longer just because they couldn't find a replacement. That's not your problem.

Well, we have the same case before. I really need to resign because my daughter is sick but my boss wants me to find replacement for my job. I find it hard because i was the one who set for interviews and teach the chosen one. They are being intelligent of acting that way

Well, sometimes you dont know where are the good things if you resigned or not, just keep it as it is going now and maybe you will dont resign again or maybe you will be the boss,. Just take it easy and let it go as it is. have a nice day my dear friend.

well, your employer cannot let you stay longer than you wanted to because you are responsible for your own decision.. what is important is you have tendered your resignation which is irrevocable.. If your employer doesn't want you to go, then tell him that you've made up your mind and whether she accepts your resignation or not, you are going out of the company..

OMgoodness! They cannot do that to you. Put in a 2 weeks notice and get out. Don't stick around to teach someone else. They taught you and they can teach the new person. If you stick around long enough to train someone else, they will sucker you into staying longer. Don't let them bully you into staying any longer than 2 weeks.

I think i have right to choose resignation, but they don't think so. Our manager doesn't want to waste her time to train the new comer. I feel unfair!!!!
