I have used PayPal for around 4 years buying items from E-bay. I'm pretty sure its safe or I wouldn't be using it. I have never had any problems with it. I think that its pretty secure. Its a reputable company.

As I've read online Paypal is really a good company. They don't just take people's money and screw them over.
Never accept a Paypal payment from an unverified Paypal member. Never pay an unverified Paypal member, and never disclose your Paypal payment information to anyone who does not have a site security seal of approval like from verisign.
Hope this helps.

I have used paypal for almost 2 years now for receiving payment with no problem. They are secure. My husband has used them for paying out for several years and also has never had a problem. It is nice because you can have the money put right into you bank account if you so requesting and it is free to do so. This is the way I do it. I think you can receive a check but I believe there is a fee for this.

I have bene using Paypal for close to 4 years with no problems. I even have an ecommerce store that uses Paypal check out system and no problems, so yes it is as safe as you make your experience with them. That is to say, do not give out your Paypal password to anyone you don't trust to access your account and be careful of emails that comes to your inbox saying Paypal wants you to enter your credit card information or anything - go directly to Paypal and login if that is the case and usually they will ave an alert for you when you login directly from their website if they want you to update any information.

Year Dear, Paypal is safe. Don't worry. But sometimes you may receive some scam mails quoting that it is from Paypal and asks you to verify your account number. Just keep away from these mails and ignore them because Paypal never asks you to verify your account after registration.
