In my opinion it's Xp though Vista's interface is amazingly great looking. I have some friends and online buddies who changed from Vista back to XP since some programs doesn't seem to work well with Vista. I own a Xp laptop and so far I really love it.

I go XP, Vista makes my computer work slow because it consumes more system requirements than Windows XP, thus, I need to replace my processor which to me an additional work to do.

I would prefer Xp. I find it very annoying to use vista. Vista's looks are so cool but after trying 7 times to use it i have failed to like it. So xp is the best choice for me

For me, i would prefer to use Windows Xp SP2 or SP3. Not that I am against vista but XP is more stable than the Vista. Although vista is more appealing in its interface, still XP is better in terms of performance. Vista has more bugs than XP. Maybe if the Vista bugs are all fixed, I would then switch to use it.

I will say XP.. hehe ^_^ AT least it's better than vista because it supports most or all the softwares and it does not give much problems..
Unlike vista, they dun recognize certain softwares and especially graphics.. Thus, vista is only good for normal basic use but not much presentation and gaming purposes ^_^ mauhhhh

As far as I can see, Xp is still the best. Vista consumes a lot of memory. It is better for new pc's with good features. Still, not all people have the luxury to afford such computers so Xp is still the most stable and suitable OS for computers. In the future though, Vista may be the preferred OS.

Windows Vista is better than XP. It has better user interface and also has stricter security. Vista is an upgrade to or a newer version of Windows XP so definitely Vista has a lot of improvement over XP. Sad to say because of the new features integrated in Vista, you have to get a very powerful laptop or desktop computer to run it. Below are the minimum requirements for Vista Home.
1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
512 MB of system memory
20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
Support for DirectX 9 graphics and 32 MB of graphics memory
DVD-ROM drive
Requirements will be greater if you plan to use Vista Business.

XP, my friend. Vista has lots of unnecessary graphics that, I suspect, makes the computer slow. Is it true then that the manufacturers have stopped making XP? What a disaster.

To me, I prefer Windows XP to Vista.
I think it's because I'm already familiar with XP.
Vista is too confusing and looks clumsy.
Furtheremore, many programs are still not compatible with Vista.
