We had cheeseburgers and beef flavored rice a roni. I didn't eat the rice a roni as I don't like it but my husband does so I make it for him. Sloppy Joes sound good I have not made those in a long time. Mac and cheese or french fries always go good with those.

Oh, that sounds good. I have Sloppy Joe mix in my kitchen in a cupboard. However I might make something else with hamburger tonight. You know, the quick box type where you can add milk and water. It's pretty hot here though. It just heats up the kitchen. But I do know that I'd like to make something this evening. Have a good time cooking!

It is hot here in the desert too, I guess that's why we start looking for dinners that can be cooked quick, sothe kitchen doesn't turn into an inferno

I made pasta with some Italian frozen veggies mixed in and a salad. It was easy, cheap, and healthy...what could be better? ;-)

Kudos to you, fwidman! I still don't even know how to make a cup of tea! But perhaps , I'll learn the tricks of the trade as I go along the way. In our country, it's morning now. So most probably, mom hasn't still got an idea for tonight's dinner. I shall be appealing for a good dinner, of course, seeing that it's Sunday. Let's see whether I get it passed or not.

That's great, Hatley With the high cost of food these days, anytime you can get another meal out of things it's wonderful

I cooked on the grill and got a little carried away, mostly because I am never sure who is going to show up. I cooked hamburgers, hotdogs, bratwurst and some rib eye steaks. I also opened a can of baked beans and a big container of potato salad I bought at the store today. Whew, I was really beat!

I made cheddar garlic bisquick biscuits and made them into biscuit sandwiches with ham in them! It was the first time I made them and they were very delicious. I saved some of the dough in the freezer so I'll get to enjoy them again and again.
