When i was little i used to believe in all sorts of stupid things, like i thought that babies were floating around in bubbles in space waiting to be chosen, and that all our hair was already in our head bundled up and it grows because it gradually eases it's was out!! hehe did anyone else believe daft things when you were younger?

well some of my favorite fairy tales was snow white and the 7 dwarfs...
in urban legend well kinda scary and creepy but some say it is true... but even now i dont see any... my friends told me that dont open your door or even your window if you hear a knock 3x at 12am or 3am... you will see a thing or a person...

I've never heard that one before! I don't think it's true though, i've answered my door at those times loads of times before and it's only ever been some drunken friend or another!! although sometimes they do look more like a thing than a person!! lol xxx

Even I used to believe in the baby thing. I think most kids do or atleast used to do in our times. Then I believed that we could really fly if we are honest and sincere. This one I owe to my sister who with her overwhelming imagination would imagine weirdest of things and would make us fall for those! She had an hypnotic spell on us.
lol...

Things I believed as a kid:
That Injury Time was a special time during a football match when the referee would blow his whistle and the players were allowed to spend the next five minutes kicking the **** out of each other.
That the reason the Earth has a gravitational field was because it spins (to be fair, a teacher told us that, which says it all about my schooling).
That the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce was a real organisation.
That TV programmes were delivered on a roll of film every morning.
That a sufficiently large dose of radiation could give a person superpowers.
By the way, based on your current profile picture, I believe that you have the ability to shoot flames from your left hand.

true dear munchkin547. all children have fantasies and notions about things based on what has been told to them!!
well many of them are wrong and particularly about babies parents are afraid of telling their kids how a baby is born!
so from the stars from the hospital etc. are some of the getaway answers!!

I think you're probably right but i don't think i had any help from my parents with this one, they always told me babies came from their mummy's tummy and i just chose to believe that they really came from space!! hehe the imaginations of children can be hilarious! xxx

The silliest things I have believed when I was a little kid. I believed that the moon on my side of the planet wasn't the same moon that other countries see. That doctors were evil scientists. I thought that the police was watching me all the time. That there were crocodiles in any river. That animals talk to each other. That people, and specially my older sister would marry after the first date. And lastly the silliest ever was that I thought my mom would get pregnant the next day after she and dad stayed all night in the room. Lol. cheers!!!

I used to think that in the olden days there was no colour. After seeing all the old black and white movies I honestly thought this was the case! I also once asked my Grandmother how she managed to survive around dinosaurs and was also convinced I could live on the moon even though there was no air because I would have just taken a fan! lol. Oh the innocence of youth!

I used to believe that babies came from cabbage patches and that you could not become pregnant if you wore any clothing, and also that when they made movies with space aliens, the movie producers actually went to the other planets and hired the aliens themselves. I also believed that there were actually fairies and monsters and all you had to do was to call them and they would come.
Oh and I did believe in Santa Claus until I found out that my parents actually hid the presents and I never got a horse. I was about eight at that time.

LOL. I never think about such kind of things. but it's funny tho.
anyway, when I was a kid, I accidentally swallow a seed from a beans (which isn't cook yet). then my dad told me that it will grow into my stomach and became a tree. he also told me that if I will drink water, I was just like nurturing it and watering it from my stomach.LOL. I really cried and really find a way to get that out from my body. but as when I grow up, I realize that it isn't true.
another one, with the tooth fairy. that you should put your tooth under your pillow and then the tooth fairy will change it into a coin. LOL. silly.
