How did you come up with your myLot name?

Okay, on some of my discussions I have mentioned why I chose this name. But this time, I'm starting a discussion solely for this purpose and to also know how my fellow myLotters came up with their myLot names.

- I was a fan of watching "anime" series when I was young. Selece is an anime character, a guardian with the power of water. I am a writer and my pen name used to be "Rain". Well, I got tired of the same thing at one point in time(the same time I joined this community), so I took time to figure out a new name. Rain is now also a common name so I definitely felt the need to come up with something new. I remembered selece. It sounded cool to me, and unique too. From Rain to selece you can see the resemblance. Water and Rain. I have always loved the rain in many ways, and sometimes I wish I had the power to control it, or to control the element of water. So there, I chose Selece.

my name SwtJenLove actually has a long history.
My name is Jen and im Sweet and full of Love. 
So i put those together to have that name. I have had that name for years! i cant remember how long ago i got it because it has been "that" long ago i got that name. i use that name for almost everything.

Both my MyLot name and my MyLot avaar reflect my heritages. I was born in Canada with one Canadian parent (my fater) and one Danish parent (my mother). I like that my screenname and my avatar actually match. I use the same name on all the social neworking sites that I am on. This was a very interesting question. Thanks for asking.

What a fascinating background to your name, Selece!
I have used mine as an online name for donkeys years, 'tho I can't remember how it came about exactly.
It is funny when I get business telephone calls and they ask to speak to Moonpoppy 'tho, it always makes me chuckle!

Selece, kudo's to you and your creativity. As for me, I'm not that creative. My username required no thought on my behalf and I have no problems forgetting it no matter what site I am on. Easy enough for me to remember as its the name that I have lived with all of my life. My username is my given first name and the first initial of my last name.
However as the story goes, I guess my mother could be given some credit for creativity, you be the judge. My mother being excited about the birth of her first child some 40+ years ago liked the name Yolanda. A popular name during this period. Turns out since both her and my father names started with the letter R. Being a young couple they had decided that all of their kids first initial would also be R. So she figured she could change a few letters to accomodate both her liking of the name and the first initial being R. Then I was born and so was the name Relunda.

hello selece,i have bestfriend and he always call me "Bombshell" so i used this in friendster site and in mylot and i guess its unique. thanks for the topic and thanks to my best friend who babtized this name and so many asking about the meaning of this name Bombshell.

RhythmWalker is the name I use basically all over the internet. I write often!
It came from a song... Donald Byrd & the Blackbirds - "Walking in rhythm, moving in sound, thinking 'bout my baby, trying to move on". I first came up with it when
I went to MSN chat around 7 years ago... I changed my nick name a couple times but went back to this one. Besides that, I do a few DJ gigs and the mane works well for
that too!

Hi there selece
I used to eat a lot of blackcurrant and licorice humbugs when I was younger and have used it for several sites. I sometimes have to add something on the end if humbug has already been taken, which in this case, it had. 25 isn't my age, I wish, but is my date of birth.

I love the moon and dancing anytime, especially at night under the moon light. It is a wonderful time for me. Hense, moondancer is my name here and other places. I am also mostly Cherokee Indian and consider this an indian name. We are named for things we do or what was first seen at the time of birth. Like walking out of the house and seeing running deer, or flying eagle. The elders name you.

Oh actually, I love your name! Because it sounds so cool. It's one of the names I really like among my friends, along with my other friend, sunkissed. Your names sound so catchy to me. I have also heard of names such as sundance, moonshadow... maybe it came from that idea too. Thanks for sharing!

I got my name from my favorite character on Final Fantasy. It is easy to remember, and is never been taken when I create an account, so is all good.

well my name actually being Bonnie and some people used to call me bunny. why i dont know. maybe my ears are big?lol. then i had a boyfriend in high school that called me bunnybon, so, hence its what i use on most all sites. and 7 is supposed to be a lucky number and i need all the luck i can get.

well i firstly had a lot of rpoblems with my lot most of the m were selecting my pic and selecting the best name but i could come up with a good name that would also sound good i tried lot and also done a lot of editing but could not come p with a good name and then i gave up and said let the thigs reamon as they area and i used my original name hpe you like it
