We all knows Asian peoples in America are working from long time. They never complain about any thing. It's like they are invisible. They are hard working peoples, so it must be that they accept the difficulties of life better than other races. But we never hear a peep out them about any thing. what do you say?

Hi Mahesh, How are you, I think your questions itself is your answer. Asians don't complain because they are Asians.......Asians are brought up in different culture. They are taught to be happy in what ever they have. Lot of patience and tolerance is in the blood of Asians. Unfortunately Asians also have to see lot of poverty around them. But when some lucky Asians get chance to improve there standard in western countries, they take it as blessing and obviously think they are getting more than they deserve, so why should they complain. If they can keep Patience in their own country, I think they can definitely be patience in western counties. what do you say........

I think Asians have been taught to make the best of everything, even when they have very little. They have dealt with a lot of adversity in their long history and yet maintained pride and honor. Their culture teaches them to shore up their family's honor and traditions and not whine like we Americans do. I have great admiration for the Asian people. They know how to get things done!

Yes that is really true because we were exposed to poverty in our own places here in Asia. That is why when we experience the workload in the Western countries we just have it lightly since we are used to a much more harsher and less pay working environment locally.

I have never noticed if they complain or not but i have seen a lot of Asian people working and they are very busy people thats for sure...They seem to be less spoiled than most and are willing to work very hard, and long hours..Maybe this is the way they were brought up,or it could be an inherited trait..

Dear mahesh, Asians are commited and hard working humans. they do not start speaking so easily. They are on the way of proving world, what they are ? In fact they wants to be leader of the world and wish to prove it. They are good at work and sincere in their duties as they never expect any thing from others until and unless they deserve it. So hats off to Asians and all the best for their better future.

Well some do, my husband is Asian and he complains, lol. Actually he's Japanese American (born and raised in the U.S.) so maybe that makes a difference, but yes you are right Asians tend to be very hard working people and they don't complain alot. By the way, I'm kidding. I love my hubby.

i think they are really hard working. its also the case that they are habituated in working long hours. may be due to this they do not complain much.they really acacept difficulties much easily than the others.

Maybe it is cultural? I don't know why but sometimes people react to things the way they have been raised and what part of the country or world they live in.

It really depends. I live in Asia so I have seen my fair share of 'complaining' Asians. I do not think it's fair to stereotype. In every race, they have their fair share of hardworking and lazy people. It has more to do with the upbringing and personality.

It is largely the culture that seems to keep Asians quiet. Honor is held highly in importance and therefore hard work is encouraged and complaining discouraged. Yes, they make do and work with what they are given. But there are those who are ambitious, and rather than complain or whine, they work hard and seek out ways to climb the ladder through diligence and effort. It is too bad that a larger portion of society doesn't follow suit. There are several from all races that follow similar pattern, but most of society reflects the overall lazy attitude that has grown today. Far too many people seek EASY money and EASY lifestyles. Everyone wants to have the good life, but only a few wish to WORK HARD for it. Most prefer to have a "get rich quick" type of method to reach the good life. With this attitude, coupled with the fact that the majority tends to sway things in majority's favor, we see more complaining, whining and protesting than hard work and effort.

well, probably you met most the shy ones. :P I think if the place was their own country, the situation might be the opposite. I have friends in the office who complained about working things all the time. LOL. language barrier, perhaps?

Hey there, I think this is due to the fact that the mentality of the western people are more developed than the Asians as they have gone so far in stressing the importance in Human Rights and also employee rights. The different environment is what causing this. There will come a time where the Asian workers will realize this and that time is when the gap between the rich and the poor becomes smaller than it is now.

are vietnamese included as asian? i worked with many vietnamese people and i liked it and it was interesting getting a small insight into their culture. but they sure complained. some of them yelled their complaints. they complained everytime they got a raise because they always thought they should get more. they wanted to live the american dream and earn big money without going to college and getting the training to work higher paid jobs.

A lot of those who do not complain has no right to because they living and working in the US illegally... so to complain means to turn themselves in to the authorities... so are afraid that if they complain... their boss will turn them in the immigration authorities... And a lot don't complain because their job there is much better that the one they had in their own country... like the pay and working conditions are way better... like my sister works as a nurse there.. but she never complains because the salary is like 50 time better than what she made here in my country...
