Do you like to eat fruits and vegetables?

We are encouraged to eat at least 2 servings of fruits and 3 servings of vegetables in each day. Do you manage to make it? I am trying to practice this eating habit,but sometimes I am too lazy to buy fruits and vegetables and store in my fridge. Fruits and vegetables are essential for our health as they provide the best sources of vitamin A,vitamin C,folate and potassium. Since they provide so many types of nutrients,we should eat more fruits and vegetables. What do you think? Do you like to eat fruits and vegetables? How often you eat them? Do share with me,thanks.

sorry for the first post..typo error it's 4 am here and my eyes are playing tricks on me. I love eating fruits and vegetables, not only it's healthy but also good for bowel movements.

I like to eat fruit and vegetables. Whatever fruit and vegetables that are in season would be a sure hit for me. Usually we serve fruits and veggies by morning. One fruit that should always be present would be bananas...

I eat several servings a day of them. Right now is the best time for melons. I have been buying watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew and chopping them up into huge fruit salads. I also love regular salads. We have at least one veggie with every dinner also.

Though I have a lot of trouble eating the vegetables, the fruit is something I can eat easily. I love all types of fruit, but not really into vegetables other than salads. So, to make up for it, I take vitamins everyday. Plus, I take an iron pill every day. My doctor suggested this so that I can get all the stuff I miss when I eat. She said it'll keep me regular, but I like the fact that she said it'll make my hair grow longer, nails grow stronger, and my skin break-out free.

I do now, actually I exceed that. I usually eat 5 servings of fruits and I'm trying to work on my vegetables. They are better and worse on different days. There are some days where I'll just go with one or two servingsof vegetables or other days where I'll go with 3+. It's best to have vegetables in a liquid form if you don't like vegetables but the fiber and extra nutrients you get from eating the vegetable are missed when you go to just liquid.

I may not make it for everyday, but i like to eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. I will eat at least 1 servings of vegatables a day. But for fruits, I may not take it always, I like to eat fruits, but it's hard to me to buy a fresh fruit always at my place.
Sometimes I will buy the fruits with cut nicely, these kind of fruits can get easily, but more expensive.

There's always fruits lying around at my place so they are the only rescue I got when nothing at home suits my palate. And I love eating fruits. They usually range from Bananas to Apples. I like them because they taste good no matter what mood I'm in. For example, when one's feeling bad or something, they do not usually like the taste of the food they are eating. No matter what. So they always taste well, when i do not want to eat any food and just want to go to sleep. I have some of them and they are enough to sustain me through the night.
They are very good from the health point of view. Most of them do not cause any side effects which are usually caused by eating

Ha ha ha not a bit. I don't eat vegetables nor fruits or non-veg food. I eat only plain delicious, tasty food items. None of the veggies i like :P and i have been healthy for a long time. I can recall i never became sick since year 2000. I eat only when i get hungry and i have very less appetite for food.
Only delicious tasty foods are my cup of tea :P and i lead a healthy life ;) People who eat veggies non veggies and junk food are prone to get sick LOL :P. I also eat sugary tasty packed food items like MILO, BOOST BOURNVITA,.. Yummyyyy :-D

now days we hardly get a health food ,eating junk has become common ,but i m not so much concerned but i eat what all my mom prepares so fruits i eat rarely must take care of it ,and i believe we should be addicted to fruits and vegetables its good for health .....

Well, I like veggies A LOT!! I LOVE salads, especially with ingredients fresh from the garden!! & vegetable sauces served together with rice or other grains... I practically eat them every day, several times a day :)
As for fruits, I love 'em too... But I've suspected 'Candidiasis' in the past & have refrained from them a bit.. (along with sweets) But we have lots in the garden, so I eat some anyway!! :)
The trick to eating veggies if you have little time is pre-preparation... When I was living on my own in the city I would wash & prepare lettuce for the whole week, & store it in a tupperware-like container.. I cooked the evening before so I could eat when I got back from work.. It is best to eat fresh, but if it's not doable, pre-prepared (by yourself) or frozen is better than nothing!!
Just make sure to stay away from food additives & get as organic as you can...
You can freeze fruit too.. Or make homemade 'healthy icecream'... For example we make it from raspberries, & it's yummy!! Either with yoghurt or cream, or just freeze raspberries by themselves, ground up in a multipractic & frozen as 'ice cubes' (better squeeze them through a sieve to get the 'seeds' out..) - my Dad likes to dissolve them in a glass of water to have 'juice', while I just eat them as 'icecream' to cool off!! :) Much better than already-made processed stuff laden with 'E's' you buy in a store!!! & yummy!!! :))

My family and I are very big on eating fruits and vegetables. It is a good thing to eat when you are very hungry because you can consume a lot without having to feel guilty about the pounds you may be gaining. It can be quite a pain buying fresh fruit all of the time so I buy canned fruit in fruit juice. I still buy fresh fruit, wash it right away, put it in our fruit bowl so anyone can snack on it through out the day. Then I store it in the fridge until the next day when we start all over again. I also make sure to make a salad with every dinner we have and a vegetable. Fresh or canned is good but I prefer the taste of fresh.

As I am a vegetarian i like to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.these foods supply the body with adequate minerals,sodium,vitaminsand other nutrients to keep the body fit.fruits you should eat with breakfast.vegetables may be kept for lunch and dinners.in the evening you may take glass of juice or vegetable soup and maintain a healthy life.thanx.

Yeah, all the points you have mentioned above are obsolutely right.. but the time and the lazyness will put us in trouble to continue the practice of having those in time..
Since in our house, we both are going for a job, I gets up early in the morning and prepare the food for our lunch, and also prepare the Breakfast, and we pack both in our hand, and start to office between 8.45 and 9.00 a.m.
Like that we will back to home between 6.00 and 7.00 p.m. in the night, (due to the heave traffic), we will sit and disucss the whole day happenenings, and i have to prepare for the dinner and have the same, to clean all the vessels.. then when we go for a sleep it will be around 11.00 p.m.
Then the next day morning as usual the regular routine job, so, sometimes, we used to have some fruits, may be in the weekends, and some of the weekdays also.. when ever the time permits..
Even most of the day, we have a fruit in our home, but we don't have a mood to have it.. what to do..?

Definitely! I love fruits and vegetables! I want to shift into vegetarian but I also loves to eat sea foods. I don't eat meat except white meat ot poultry like chicken and turkey. It is recommended for a human person to eat fruits and vegetables regularly to become healthy. They can also make your life longer than those who who did eat much fruits and vegetables. We have vegetables in every dinner and a lot of fruits to choose from the fridge.

I dunno where you got your figures from, but I was fairly sure it was 2 fruit and 5 veg. I like to eat fruit, not so much vegetables but I know I have to do it. I would say that I probably do eat the required amount, or come very close. Although I do find myself eating more fruit than vegetables...
