I always wear a watch in my hand and keep looking to it to know what is the time I don't know why, and if I am home I keep do that with the wall watch. Time is precious and we should know how to spend it with something useful. Do your wear a watch in your hand? Do you keep looking to now what is the time is? How you kill your emptiness time?

wristwatch - photo of man's wristwatch
Hi my friend I don't usually wear a watch. However I have the time all around me. I have the time on my cell phone, which I carry everywhere with me, the time is on my computer, the time is on my dvr box under my TV, the time is on the wall or table in every room of the house and I have a time on a clock in my car. So I can tell what time it is where ever I am. How do I kill my emptiness time? Well on MyLot of course !!! Have a nice night, Char

Watch - watch..
Yes, I used to wear the watch in my left hand when ever i am going to office.. I will not wear the watch when i was at home, since I feell that, this is not necessary.. Infact, my husband not even wear the watch, even when he was going to office, he used to tell that, he is having a Mobile, he can check the time over there.. and also he used to complain that, if he wear the watch, he feel very swetting at her wrist.. And also now a days, i am found most of people are not wearing the wrist watch, they use to tell the reason that, they are having a Cellphone/Mobile.. After the mobile has come wearing the wrist watch concept has come down.. drastically.. even though they have more than one watches at home.. Nice discussion.. keeps this up.

Just three weeks ago I bought three fancy watches at some watch store in this mall I went to. I depended a lot on my cellphone to tell me what time it is. When I'm at work I usually depend on the computer to tell me the time. But now I have both the cellphone and my wrist watch to look at when I want to know what time it is especially when I'm out.

I would go absolutely crazy wihout my watch. I also have a clock in my cellphone, and another one inside my omputer. I am one of hose eurotic people who always needs to know what time it is. Mind you I ride the busses a lot, so I need to know when they get to the stops where I need to catch them, so I guess always needing to know what time it is "comes with the territory," as we say.

I don't. THe main reason is because I am allergic to metal and I get a rash even if only a percentage of the watch is metal. Having to choose between knowing what time it is and having a itchy rash or not know what time it is at all is not complicated, I can always find out what time it is if I need to:) A smaller reason is that I hate to be commanded by time. Sure I have no choice but to allow it for certain things like getting to work on time or something like that, but other than that I really don't care much about time itself. I like to enjoy life as a whole and without time limits. Of course we're all different. I have a friend that has all her life planned to the minute. 1 hour for this, 30 minutes for that. She was finally enjoying herself the other day. We were playing a dodge ball with the kids when her the alarm on her watch went off. " oh I have to go now, this is my time for exercizing" so she went inside to do her video workout. She came out later complaining of how boring it was, but it was good to have an exercise program... wait a second.. she was exercising... she was actually doing a great work out and having fun at it....:)

LOL, Time to me is that precious that I don't have a wall clock or a watch as I would just waste time looking at them. I do have one on the computer so I can check how late it is and one on my phone. They are enough time pieces for me to know what time it is for me to be somewhere. Ellie :D

hi alkurishy yes I have always worn a wristwatch on my left'wrist as long back as I can remember. I like to know what the time is and I only have the computer and my alarm clock so want a watch to so I will always know what time it is. I would be lost without a watch on my wrist. I often glance at it to find the right timed. Also my computer isnt always really accurate so I do trust mywatch. right now as my strap broke on my watch I am carryiing it around with me until I ' can get a new strapl

I do wear a watch on my left hand , when I was a kid I use to wear my watch on the right hand and sometimes I do look at it because boredom was killing me. But when you are older you get to do a lot of things and you always say you are busy even if you are not really. hehe and also to answer your question, I wear my watch everywhere I go, even when I take a bath or shower or swim or scuba dive. I know how time is too precious and sometimes we don't spend it the people we love or some more important things and so I want time to be always with me.

I can't wear a watch. Several doctors have explained it as my personal magnetic field. Analogue and electronic watching will quit withing about 3 months. I have a whole drawer full of them.

Yes, I do and it is very special, as it was given to me as a present when I left the country where I was living at the time. After wearing it for about 3 or 4 years the clock stopped working, so I took it to be checked, but they told me it could not be fixed. I did not want to throw it away, so I just kept it in my bedroom for many years. A few weeks ago I was sorting through some old things and I came across the watch, so my husband took it to his jeweler and he reckoned she knew somebody who liked to fix old watches. Well, now I have my nice watch back again, looking even more beautiful and it is working perfectly! A few days after starting to wear the watch again I also came across the card that came with the watch nearly 20 years ago and this is what it said: "May you remember us with every "tick" of happiness in your new life! With love and best wishes...

Dear friend, I do wear watch mostly even at home too and most of day while I sleep too. When I go out I would check the time mostly may be it has become a practice for me. I feel more uncomfortable while not having watches which I experienced very rarely once when I went for picnic and my watch was damaged while I was climbing the rocks and there were no shops and it was an isolated are I had to stay there 4 more days I had spend that days without a working watch. I realised how precious is to know time for me.

I don't have this habit of wearing a watch on my hand. Sometimes I just wear it as an accessory, lol. For example, like going out for a dinner or have any functions then I will wear a watch. I don't often look at the time. I only check the time whenever I am going to do something. If I have nothing to do on that day and I don't need to work, I will always kill my time by doing something that I like without checking the time.

I also used to wear a wristwatch everyday. Started when I was just a kid. My aunts would give me pretty watches and I liked to alternate using them. My fascination for nice watches went on until my adulthood. Now I just have a classic Ann Klein watch given by my fave sister :) Yes, I do have the habit of looking at the time every so often, just so I know.. Not that I'm the most punctual person in the world. Hehe
