Just curiouis, does a Hotel California really exist? as in the song by Eagles?

I've been asking about hotels in California and it occurred to me: Does Hotel California really exist? Is it as horrible as the song by Eagles say? "You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave." Spooky!

There is no Hotel California. I have read it tells what kind of life people have to experience and endure in that place. However, there is a Hotel California in Mactan Island in Cebu, Philippines.

You have to follow the road to Mactan Doctor's Hospital. It's on left side of the road before reaching the hospital gates. Probably around 200 meters.

Well, at least someone from the outside can observe...i.e. cab drivers...they will notice if Hotel California visitors do keep going in and not coming out. That is if the hotel exists.
