Do you have any talents? Have you found your talent? I am 24 years old this year and yet I have not found any of my talents or anything I am good in. I am not sure whether I don't realize it or I really don't have one. I am not good in singing, sports or drawing. I don't know what am I good in,sigh. Sounds pity huh? So far what I know about myself is I am good in memorizing for exams. Is this counted as a talent for me? What do you think? Please tell me.....

yeah its pity if you dont have any even one...i think memorizing is a talent its hard to memorize many words especially in examination....me im always do cheating if that time will happen ..and i never caught even once with the examiner....can you consider this as a talent......but aside from this i know how to play chess but im not considered myself im a good this sport.....im not good as the varsities....but if you have one thing you like it...and love it....give your heart on it and make practicing so that your talent will exist.....thats only my opinion.....

I have found some of my talents over the years, and among them include playing musical instruments, singing and playing some particular sports. Even though I consider these as my talents, I never consider myself to be exceptionally good in any of them, because I acknowledge that in spite of the current level of skill that I am in, there is always still room for improvement up ahead. But most importantly, I use these talents of mine to bless other people, for example in my talent of playing musical instruments, I serve by playing the piano/keyboard for the church I am currently attending. In your case, I would say that as long as you're good in something, that is your talent. No one has completely zero talents; it is up to us to find out our talents if we can't identify any. Besides, talents can be developed; all of us started at zero or nothing and we built up our skills and talents as we go along life. So, your good memory is indeed a talent. Who knows when your talent might be useful in many situations, even helping others; one possible situation when you can utilize that talent is perhaps during a holiday trip when you get lost: memorizing landmarks could make a whole lot of difference....my final advice and word for you is to continue developing that talent you have, and do continue to search for other talents that you might have! Sometimes, it means stepping out of your comfort zone to really be able to identify those talents...are you up to the challenge?

I am magician and I have just rediscovered my talent 4 years ago but I have been doing magic since I was ten. I think with your ability to memorize things, you could actually do a lot. Just think of the things that you enjoy and you could actually use it as a talent. Before I got into magic I really love playing with cards (not poker or anything like that) I mean shuffling, fanning them etc. Then I decided to do magic. That's how I used a seemingly useless talent to become a better one. I think your memorizing skills could be use to bring out your talent, just think about what makes you happy and soon you will be able to find yours.

One- don't sell yourself short. There has to be something that you are good at, and you are just destroying your confidence by saying that you are not good at anything. I think I have many talents. Musically, I play trumpet and am first chair. Academically, I was the saludictorian. And sports, which may be my greatest talent. I play soccer, and used to play for my high school team and got an offer to play college ball. I also played basketball until my senior year of high school. I found my talents by trying a bunch of different things, and you should do the same. After trying hundreds of things, I eventually found my talents. Good luck.

everyone has a talent.. Time can say to know about yourself for exploring your talent. If you are good in memorizing, why should you try to join a club for writing articles and magazines. Maybe you would be a good writer.

I love to read books. I love to gain knowledge. So I read more books and try to learn new things daily. I love music and I play guitar too. So I think all these could be some of my talents. About you, do not worry. Everybody has something special which others may not have. May be you have not recognised what is your speciality. You may be able to get friends quickly. That is also a talent. You may remember more dates and numbers than others. You may be able to make the people around you happy. You may be abl eto enjoy nature..Those are also talents. So do not conclude you do not have any talent..Find out the special thing that you admire about yourself. You will be able to know about you.

I love to write and am good at it. I am especially good at writing short horror stories! I have been told I have a sick imagination, lol. I also love to read and can do so pretty fast! That's about it though. You having a good memory is good, mine is pretty bad! I wouldn't worry that you haven't discovered your talent yet. You will, just give it some time. Maybe you could start with things you love to do and see how good you are at them, like your hobbies! :)

Hi Yenwie, sometimes we would not know what we are good in, when we were in school or college. During my school days, I love maths, physics, anything to do with figures. In college, I took up computer courses, all because it was a new subject.
I graduated, started working and drifted into different jobs - all very boring to me, until I found a job in a computer firm. It was then I discovered that I enjoyed computer programming, and from there, went into systems design and analysis. Later on,I moved into marketing for computer products, and now I'm fully in marketing.
So don't worry too much. As you move along in life, you will meet more people, be exposed to different professions and industries, you will find your strengths and interests.
