Happy Ice Cream Day!

thank u and same to u. i like ice creams very much. i am celebrating this by eating more ice creams and sharing with my friends.

Well, all of us Ice Cream Vendors are excited about this Day! I think that everyone should get a tastey treat from their local Ice Cream truck today! So many to choose from, so little time! LOL!!!

Now that sounds like a Great event! I wonder if we can get it recognised here in the UK, though this month hasn't been the best weather for Ice-cream, I'd 'HAVE TO' eat it ........ The more excuses I can find to eat delicious home made Ice-cream the better. I've never tried Cookies n Cream, (I suppose it should be called 'Biscuits and Cream' here - but cookies sounds better) could you be a doll and give me the recipe? Happy Ice cream day to you all!

Hi , I had no idea that was today . Everyone had a treat of ice cream today but me go figure I could of used a nice cool treat . I dont have any recipes to share sorry . I do like cookie topping , sprinkles , and some whip cream on the ice cream.

I LOVE ICE CREAM! Ice cream and me go way back - as a child my dad would go to the grocery store on the corner and buy several half gallons of our favorite ice creams - mint chip, strawberry, and chocolate. He would bring it home and we would eat ice cream sandwiches made with the cheapo, best choice brand chocolate chip cookies. This childhood custom led to a major addiction. In my teen years I had several ice cream eating contests with my best friends. One time I downed an entire quart of Starbucks coffee ice cream in one sitting. (I advice you to not do this). I was shaking and didn't stop moving, let alone sleep, all night. A whole pint of Ben and Jerry's Half-baked ice cream, my absolute favorite, that is how I would celebrate National Ice Cream Day, expect for one slight hang up - I am on a sports diet that doesn't let me have processed sugar. So I will sit here, sad that I can't have any. For everyone else out there - Enjoy the ice cream. Everyone deserves a treat so delicious.

Wow, I don't know that there is such a celebration like this. This is so much fun. I love ice cream so much and eating it makes my mood so light and my day so nice. Ice cream is really delicious. Happy Ice Cream Day!

Hey roxanne271, You are too late! I did not know. Yesterday was the third Sunday in July and I have missed it. Does that mean that I have to wait a whole year to eat ice-cream? What time is it now in Hawaii? I might still have a few minutes left! I am trying not to look at your discussion mentioning all those ... bluebell, nutella, swirl ice-cream.. aaargh!!! wooooooooooow i wish we have national ice cream day here in my country. we love ice cream since we're in tropical country. I did a homemade cookies and cream ones... it was good. i would love to have another ice cream recipes too.. because as of now i only know how to make cookies and cream. for ice cream day i would like to go o ice cream house and order the best ice cream combination they have. =) yummmy

I really love ice cream roxanne. Uhhm I would go out with my friends to the ice cream shop and share some money to buy lots of variety of ice cream. My fave ice cream is cookie's n cream .
