i can have a garden where i live but not all places you can. the price of food is going up and up and going to get worse but in some plaes they dont allow a garden at all and others you have to pay for a premit. personally i want to get a milk cow, goats, chickens, and a few rabbits. i have a garden going too. what are people to do that cant afford the price of food but cant grow it either cause the law doesnt let them.

I am growing a garden. I live out in the country so we all have alot of space. I wouldnt be able to keep farm animals here though, becasue this is a subdivision that wounldnt allow that. That's Ok becasue I dont want them anyway! Having animals is alot of work. I get tired of cleaning up after my dog and cat.

There are many "assistance" programs available for those struggling to feed themselves and their families. Contact "Family Services"... if not, your local police will know where the resources are.
Even local churches will have assistance programs, food, clothing, finances even.

I love to have a garden and try to plant one each year. We live on a farm and raise cows. As prices raise I have been thinking of canning more. Times are changing.

I think things are so high and getting higher that gardens are the only way some people will survive. It is already so crazy to see the prices in the stores. If people are already doing without and the prices keep going up, what else can happen? My family all thru the generations had gardens and they always will. It just cost more now to do that too.
