My husband is only allergic to the green part on top, which I can easily remove. But he doesn't like the smell of eggs or bananas. For a while there I only had them, when he wasn't around but it's good for the kids, especially bananas, and he has gotten used to them eating bananas (not yet eggs) as long as they are not overly ripe and I bring the peels into the outside garbage.
I don't like licorice, the smell makes me nauseous. Yet my husband has no problem eating that stuff right in front of me. Go figure!

I'm allergic to oily fish, but my other half loves them. He tends to avoid them but has oily fish when I'm away for family things or he has business trips. It's one of those things you have to live with when you live with someone.

Ooh, I love strawberries too!!
I'm currently single, but my Mom & Sis are sorta allergic to strawberries...
While I was allergic to food additives when I was a little kid already... I had to learn to live without Coca Cola or any 'artficial' things.. It was difficult at first, but then I didn't even miss anything.. (I still find the smell of pate or freshly packed sausages disgusting! lol)
Is this a recent thing, with your hubby, or has he always been allergic? Cause if he's always been allergic, maybe he doesn't even know what he's missing!! :)
It is sometimes really difficult to live with someone who can eat what you can't, and vice versa.. (I was eating gluten-free & diary-free for a while too.. & it was quite difficult, living with people who didn't eat this way.. & would leave crumbs everywhere etc. But if one is persistent & if there is will, mutual understandings & agreements or 'rules' can be made.. If he has cravings for strawberries, maybe 'keep them out of sight' or you could buy just as many as you would eat, not more, or eat them elsewhere.. or when he isn't home..)
What does your hubby say? Does it bother him to see you eat strawberries?
Surprisingly, I love very ripe bananas, but my Mom finds them disgusting!!
Enjoy the strawberries & be blissful for them!! (I'm guessing he can do or eat things you can't or don't want to too!! :))
