Do you bring packed lunch to the office?

Well I do. I bring packed lunch and even snacks to the office and eat them at the pantry. I prepare the food in the evening or sometimes had to wake up really early to cook the food that i will bring. This practice saved me so much money. For those who are thinking of ways to save money, try bringing packed lunch than eating out. I used to eat at the canteen at the building where i worked but the food is pretty much expensive and sometimes not very tasty too. Aside from my lunch, i also bring fruits sometimes to make sure that i am able to eat a healthy and balanced meal even if i am at work. how about you?

For me when i work i get break after five hours of work as i started my job i didnt care i just eat in canteen but after some time i saw that i waste my money in eating rubbish things in the canteen now i bring my own food to my office . I just want to say that the person who works in the factory should bring there own food from there home because many things in canteen are not healthy for us once we eat we have to suffer from illness so mi take advise that u must take ur own food to ur office with that u can be healthy and for some extent u can save ur money which u will on rubish things .i have only one slogan for that eat healthy and think better.

Yes I bring packed lunch from my home because its saves money and we dont have to eat unhealthy food and in that way we can also maintain a good healthy diet. We all want to stay healthy. I bring my food in a zip foil pouch in that way my food stays fresh and healthy. I also preffer fresh fruit diet as I have some liver problem.

i worked in an education institution who provide us with lunch, so i dont bring packed lunch. Though i occasionally bring packed breakfast. But since the lunch only provided during the school time, when it's holiday (for the kids, not for us workers), i bring packed lunch too! Because yes, it saves money!!

Yes I do, since I was studying as much as possible I bring my own packed lunch. Not only because it saves me money but it also assures me that the food I am eating is safe. Now that I'm working I still bring a packed lunch because the food here is really way too expensive for a very small serving That's why I always bring my own lunch.

good for you, I've been thinking of bringing packed lunch in the office but it bothers me because I work early in the morning. Like you said, you cook in the evening or wake up early, but I think i'm really a lazy cow and can't even do that. lol, but it's true it saves money and the effort [u know I won't have to go down 19 floors to buy some food], it's also filling, coz it's delicious [homemade tastes better!lol] and it ensures you that it's clean. now I'm hungry, luch time for me..see ya around.

With my line of work, it is not practical to bring packed lunch. I work for the training department and when we have trainings, there will ALWAYS be free snacks and free lunch. My husband, on the other hand, prefers to bring packed lunch to the office when he knows he has no meeting scheduled. This helps us cut down unnecessary expenses. Sometimes though, when we have a lot of extra fruits at home, I bring to the office and share with my department.

I do this now. I actually don't do this before. I like it this way since I can eat the food that I am used to eating. And I am very sure that they are prepared and done well by people you trust. It's even thrifty to do that too. I'm really encouraging my friends to do this as well.

hi misshoney Up until I retired a year or so ago I always packed a brown bag lunch, as I only had half an hour and besides I am a diabetic so its easier for me to fix whats good for me than to try and find something on the menu in a restaurant that will not shoot my blood sugar sky high. lolmost of us working 'in the library brought our lunches and we all yakked our heads off while we ate, sharing all the silly things that happen in a day in a library. lol lol

I have always brought my lunch to work. Sometimes it is as simple as a sandwich with an apple or other fruits and nuts. It might even be a full course meal left over from the night before. It seems that everywhere we turn, the price of our favorite things are shooting up, so take your lunch. It's the smart thing to do.

You are right that if you take lunch pack from home you can save money and also can have home made tasty food. I usually go to my home to have luch during the lunch break. I am staying near to my office. So I can have warm food from home. We have one hour lunch break and this is enough for me to go to home to take lunch and come back.

It makes sense to do so nowadays. I have done it off and on for years. I find myself doing it more often. Besides I like to because I know first hand who made and what is in it. Maybe I saw too many movies. I also cooked in fast foods, institutions and restraunts. Not often, but I seen some things that would more than raise an eyebrow.

Yes, I bring packed food at office. I like to eat food prepared and cooked at home. I don't like the outside food much. I like to eat healthy, not very spicy. I bring the food cooked at home and this way I can also decide the quantity I need and stop waste of food too.

Sometimes I do, but it's not very convenient for me to heat the lunch. So I seldom bring packed lunch. But it's really cheaper, more tasty and more healthy than eating out. Fortunately, the food in our college canteen isn't too much expensive, so it won't cost me much. However, I have to admit that the food in canteen tasts terrible, I don't know how long can I bear it.

I do all the time except when I'm on travel. It's one way of saving food expense and I can choose the food that I want to eat rather than eat what is just displayed in the canteen.
