How do you keep yourself updated? Do you watch TV, read newspapers, listen to the radio, or go online. I once read that one way to be earth friendly is by reading your news online. I don't know if i want to recommend this because it will kill the newspaper industry and as someone who grew up reading the newspapers that would be very sad. Besides i noticed that most newspapers here in the Philippines already use recycled paper in publishing newspapers. Anyway, i got my news from different sources but in all honesty, i got my news mostly from the internet because i work using the web. There is a daily newspaper here in the office but you know what. Everything that i see and read in the papers is also on the net so i am kind of thinking that the daily newspaper is quite a waste of money. Anyway i guess it just suggest that the web is the new media but i hope that this development would not kill other forms of media especially the newspapers.

Well believe me it is not the time yet the internet news can kill any other news media. The way you read the news from internet very different from you read the news in newspaper cause sometime some word in the internet news is very small, so we need to get more closed to the monitor to read those news and the radiation that in yhe monitor is no good for our eyes. But the way we read the newspaper is a natural way, no handful to our eyes at all. Well if one day, you house is out of electricity, then we will missing the whole important day of news, if we depends a lot of news from internet.

i keep updated at first when i wake up in the morning on tv. becaue i have no time to read the news paper. and and i search for th einternet is the international news only. it is true that internet news can kill newspaper news. But the internet news cant kill news in media using television because most of the poor cant buy news paper and they cant also afford to go online because they can afford to expense just to surf online. they just rely on th etelevison. i think online news will be applicable to those who works in the computers, the white collar jobs , the student. but for the needy or the poor they only be updated using television. this depend class of people in our society. we are aware that not everybody can afford.

I get my news in the morning on TV while I'm treadmilling for 1 hour. Interneting does save mother earth. Newspapers are indeed a waste of money for me considering that I have unlimited hi-speed internet at home and in the office and someone else is paying for that. But you see, old-school - my dad has been reading newspapers even before internet was popular. He's used to it and it's a hard habbit to break so every morning I turn on the news while he sits on the sofa in front of the television reading the paper. How crazy is that? I know there's no saving mother earth there.
