My emergency pizza to share with you...

My family loves pizza, or should I say is obsessed to pizza. After my husband and I received our salaries, we usually brought our kids to pizza parlor and enjoy our beloved pizza. one time, my kids requested for pizza but unfortunately,it rained hard so what I did, I made my own version which I think some of you are familiar with. I just put pasta sauce, left over hotdogs and ham slices, sliced onions,pepper and cheese on slices of white bread and put it inside the oven until the cheese melts and viola!!! my emergency pizza.

We used to make these all the time with sliced bread or English muffins. They are great in a pinch.

nice. I love this emergency recipe. Sometimes I even make it for my family as a planned meal. I have found that the white bread can get soggy though, so I substitute Italian or French bread. it is firmer and gets a nice crunch in the oven.
