When are you going to be on the Front page?

I use to get on the front page all the time, I get enough responses, so now what does it take? Some or interesting and some are not. Have you ever been on the front page? Have you been on there Lately? You get a bonus if you do. Did you know that? Have a good day! (

Hi there maiciascott
As you can see I am very new to mylot and I can't figure out how to get a star rating and how people manage to get so many responses, are they all from their friends? I think I have started some very interesting discussion,not usually anything deep and meaningful but I think interesting nontheless. Please feel free to check out any of my dicussions and tell me what you think and if you could answer some of my questions I would be very grateful!!

I don't know, I never look. I am trying to understand how myLot works. I put a discussion the other night, in 8 hours it had around 20 responses, when I got the email with the top discussion, mine did not make it. The next day it was up to around 40 discussions and again it did not make it.
Maybe it is a timing thing or something but I am clueless how MyLot works. It is a lot like my job, I don't understand it.

Yes, I know the same here, I always get pretty much 20 to 30 replys, and I am never on the front page? that why I ask this question. You said just what I meant. Thanks I agree with you!

I don't think I have ever made any of the front pages, or top discussions. I haven't seen it yet. Then again, maybe I haen't been looking in all the right places. Oh well... If I get there, if I don't, I don't. Just as long as my regulars keep responding. :)

Yes, I know what you mean, as long as we still are able, to chat with all our friends it doesn't matter, but as quiet as it is kept you do get a bonus, not much but every little bit helps.

Hey where have you been? good to see you here, I haven't seen you around here in ages, I hope all is well, When I say Front Page, I am talking about myolot Digest, Mylot sends everyone a Mylot Digest, I don't know if you halt to wait untill you rech a certain number or not. Everyday they send a Mylot digest, where people starts discussons. I don't now if it is popular or not. but that is the way they have been doing it. good to see you here, don't stay away so long.

I had no idea you would get a bonus if you make the front page, I am sure I never got there mostly because I do not start that many discussions. Are those all the discussions posted on the Home page then? This place can be very confusing sometimes.

Yes, It can be confusing at times. that is why a person is really happy when they make it to Mylot digest. When I say Bonus, you do get a little more, it is like Mylot is getting you a bonus, because more people can see your discussion. Some one said they got abut 40 cents just for being on the front page.

You have been on the page of the myLot newsletter quite a few times :-) I've only done it a few times myself, but I don't start as many discussions as you do. Gee, I never knew that you got a bonus for doing that, that is great! Huh?! Learn somethin' new every day lol.

Hi, Joy, well I say you get a bonus because more people are answering your discussions. Mylot emails all of us the Mylot digest. and a lot of us go strait to Mylot digest, some times I do and sometimes I don't another Mylotter told me he got like 40 cents for being on the front page. If you get on the front page more people are answering your discussions. So that means you don't have to be here that much.

I'm not sure what you mean by making it on the front page, how and in what manner? And no I didn't know that you get a bonus from making the front page! Have you ever made the mylot digest email that they send out daily? I think I may have once if that. My daughter has made that several times.

Hi, Terri824, Yes I have made the front page several times, When I say you get a bonus, that means everyone is looking at your discussion, and that is how you get more cents.

Usually, when I log in, it is from an email notification so I don't see the main page. I might have to change that though, as I have noticed occasionally, I end up losing the discussion I was trying to respond to and have to go and get the email again.

I don't know because a lot of those discussons are not quality discussion, like Debs_place said we might get 30 or 50, but that don't mean we will get on the Front Page, (Mylot Digest)
