I love to eat them with a spinach dip. So I just cut the peel off and cut them into slices and then into quaters and dip them into spinach dip. I also put them into salads. You can also make cucumber sandwiches. slice your cucumbers and peel them. Then you can spread some cream cheese on some bread, any flavor you like and put a few slices of the cucumbers on the bread. You can salt and pepper to taste. This is also fun for tea parties for little girls too! Have a great day!

I'm not real crazy about cucumbers. There are 2 ways that I like them though. The first is like how Ruthep fixes them by putting them in a vinegar/water/sugar mix and I like to have them with onion sliced and separated into rings. The second way is to fry them like you would fry zuchinni. I get an egg, put in a little flour, salt and pepper; dip the very thin cucumber slices into the egg batter; put in skillet with a bit of cooking oil and fry 'til nice and brown. As for raw cucumber, not by itself. I do chop them into small pieces, though, and put them into lettuce salads.

We get a lot of cucumbers this time of year from my parents who have a big garden. I like to cut them up and put them in salad or slice thin and put on sandwich. It's tasty sliced and mixed with chopped mango and onion, salt and pepper, and lime juice. I have added chopped up cucumbers to salsa. I like to slice refrigerated cucumber thin and put over my eyes to reduce swelling around the eyes and soothe sore eyes.

I personally like my cucumbers with just a little salt added to them. However, my husband prefers to combine them with onions and put into a sugar and vinegar mixture and left to sit in the frig for a few hours to get cold. Another great meal or snack is fresh tomatoes sliced with fresh mozarella cheese on them. Add a basil vinegerette dressing and they are wonderful! I had them a month ago in Georgia and was absolutely amazed with them.

I think salting your cucumbers makes them taste better because I like salty tastes. If you like them too than maybe you would like them better this way. I like them also with ranch salad dressing. I'm sure any kind of vegetable dip would help improve the taste to you. Also I've seen people put them in their sandwiches. I haven't tried that though.
